How to Make Acrylic bending machine

In this video I am showing you how to make a Acrylic/ PVC Bending Machine at home using Nichrome Wire, Aluminum Bars and Plywood Wood. This bender is powering up with 12V DC 7Ah Lead Acid Battery. For this DIY Acrylic Bending Machine most of the materials can be easily found at your home. So, Let’s Make.
Materials Required:
1. M4 Screws Hand Tightening Screws x2
2. Door Hinges x2 - bit.ly/2Hgdg3b
3. 12V 10A Switch - bit.ly/35OX6aJ
4. DC Power Connector Socket - bit.ly/36Pgbsr
5. Spring Coil x1 - bit.ly/3pSSg4a
6. Corner Bracket x2 - bit.ly/3ffWk9r
7. Nichrome wire 0.5mm (20cm Long) - bit.ly/3pEZs3E
8. Aluminum U Channel 20mm x 20mm
9. Aluminum Angle Bars 3mm Thickness
10. Screws M3/M2
11. Wires
12. Wire Crimps
13. Plywood Sheet 20mm

  • Is the 2nd piece of c-channel just for decoration?

    • Judging from the use of the right angle, it was supposed to be for aligning the piece, but the clamp he installed afterwards ruined that idea.

    • When wire gets hot it expands so the spring takes up the slack.
