*really love Nadal's new celebration of just standing and grinning at his booth at the end* pure elation
Yeah, so cute!!!
For a man with a possibility of winning 21 majors considering the immense injury problems he’s had makes him my goat
22 now...
Nadal won Australian open title which is medium fast for sure so he could win US Open title which is slower than Australian open also
Thank you Australian Open TV for putting highlights + extended highlights! You are doing this right!
Except their thumbnail gives away the results. It would great if they would put both competitors in the thumbnail to not spoil the result.
The only thing they seem to get right...
@@Joe-ib5yk Good point.
think the french open will do the same? LOL
THE BEST GRAND SLAM!
As a Rafa fan I didn’t expect him reach the final this year, but once again he surprised everyone! Now one more win to set a new record. Vamos!
Same. Thought his body may be on the decline after seeing what happened last year. But the BULL came roaring back! GO NADAL!
I think he suprised himself lol
I was never surprised. He just won a warm up tournament. Never count out NADAL
Vamos pra onde?
Vamos!
amazing run by Matteo. What a strong mentality
I am a huge Novak fan. I just wanna say to all the Nadal super fans... What a player...He is SOOOO good. I hope Nadal takes this chip. Infact, I don't care who ends up with the most, as long one of the Big 3 wins the majors! I hope it's 3 way tie!
Damn mad respect to you, as a Rafa fan every time Novak is playing I’m hoping he loses (which almost never happens 😂). End of the day Rafa and Novak are the two best players to ever play tennis
@@CrazedMonkeyPickle fed?
@@simarb9474 he’s close behind in 3rd for sure, Rafa and Djokovic have just dominated Federer head to head their whole careers so it’s hard for me to put Federer ahead of either of them
@@CrazedMonkeyPickle I can see your point of view in terms of Rafa being 1 but I feel like a lot of Djokovic’s wins were post prime Federer not to mention it took Djoko 5 sets to beat an old fed in the 2019 Wimbledon albeit on grass
Melton's DUI, So happy to read your classy comment. I do like watching Rafa more than Novak or Federer but I won't call myself a fan necessarily. That being said, Novak is the most consistent player of his generation with the best record of the three and it's a testament to his fitness and mental focus. While I believe Medvedev is the favorite, I will never Rule Rafa out and no matter what happens the big 3 are all truly special in their own way.
Nadal... how is this guy still in the conversation. what he is doing is insane.
the video summary crew at AO has set the gold standard for all other tournaments for ever. 3 *and* 8 minute summaries, no bs, soon after the match, … 👏👏👏. AO chiefs: give the YT crew a major raise. ps one tiny request: it would be great if you didn’t put the picture of the winner as the thumbnail. Please include both players so the suspense isn’t ruined. thanks!
I was going to comment exactly that last part, They almost have it exactly how it should be, but they don’t seem to want to change the thumbnail from just one player.
the US open ones were pure garbage
I agree -- I think they would be nearly perfect if they could also add the key breaks of serve since that's usually when the players have huge reactions. Like Nadal's 4th set break was not shown (only the nice point by Berrettini); I would have liked to see that.
That left handed forehand which whips is a work of art. Come on Rafa! You are the Don of the sport and the most humble and hard working professional out of all of them. Haven't been this excited since the 2008 final at Wimbledon against Roger!
Regardless for whoever wins the final, I will be cheering for Nadal. VAMOS RAFA!
VAMOSSS!!!!!!
berrettini has pretty good slices on his bh. but at this point everyone knows nadal always eats slices for breakfeast with his forehand...
totoally useless against Nadal. He was able to destroy that shot when he was a teenanger
2:55 wow, i have to slow the speed to x.25 to see what Nadal did there. He was so consistent to attack Berretini backhand even though he had an oportunity to hit an inside out forehand and finish the point. Like a battering ram, keep using lefty forehand to opponent backhand.

Decades of rooting for phenomenal Rafa and here we are! History is waiting to say your name!
He is by far the best tennis player ever…he loves the sport and it shows
@@ryansmith144 Wtf, is only 1 year younger
@@ryansmith144 Also, he doesn't own Rafa. He literally got 2 more wins. 😂 And honestly, Djokovic often got to play Rafa in the worst phase of his career. Rafa didn't get that lucky in 2017.
Nope sampras is the best
@@nickthemacmcgc45 LMAO, he didn't even make a final at RG. Only good on fast surfaces.
@@ryansmith144 What a load of crap. He got 2 more wins. Owning, sure. 😂
Vamos Nadal! I have no doubt that you will win the AO finals tomorrow, 100% sure that you can do it. Everyone's working for you, supporting you and cheering for you to win the title and get the historical 21st grand slam win. You have fans all around the world and you're everyone's favorite to win. Congratulations in advance on winning your 21st grand slam at AO 2022! Go Nadal!
Thank you Rafa&Berrttini. Well done!
Rafael please make it 21💪💪💪
Nadal playing like his old self. Love it!
No where near as fast as he was. Not as powerful either.
@@mikerzisu9508 and yet.... Nadal made ANOTHER FINAL! More impressive with lac of POWERFUL weapons
@@leonardobraynen1524 definitely agree
Ehh, he's lost a step and a half in terms of speed, and his serve is slightly better than it used to be. He looks like an older player that's refined his game to his physical limitations, like an old power pitcher that learns more pitches.
@@tim72184 good way of putting it. Although I would argue his serve is not as good as it was. Really no element of his game is as good as it was. But you can tell he has been working super hard to stay in top shape to compete with the younger generation
Wow ! Nadal wasn't even breathing hard after the match point . Vamos Rafa !
Please AO please get the 2022 Final, semis & other great rounds in full on KZhead as soon as you can, yes it will be months but I am not on Sky, cable. Thanks for all the matches in full that we can see from past years. What an era that will never be repeated & there seems no replacements who will rule yet in place of the 3 Tennisteers.
3:53 . Hardwork and dedication.
It is so obvious that most of the new-gen players are not as skilled as the big 3. Here, an old and near retirement Rafa clearly outmaneuvered Berrettini. Rafa is clearly not as quick as he used to be but simply outplayed all of his younger opponents. My bet in on Rafa to capture his 2022 Assie GS title. The only concern is that Rafa is hurt and being a great sportsman, Rafa always keeps it to himself. Rafa deserves to be the GS King.
Great win for nadal. But, beating Medvedev will be a different story. I wish him the best.
Agree. Med is one and the best of handful new era players who is able to be explosive when facing the Big3, moreover he is on his best since 4th quarter of last year. I am the fan of Rafa, really hope he can get his 21st gs,Vamos Rafa!
Its wasnt a "Great" win at all. Berretini played like a 3.5 jr girl for 2 and half sets. It was uderwhelmingly shitty from him. This next gen are so fucking soft, this is the coddled generation wondering why they struggle w adversity. Meddy is going to run roughshod over this Nadal. I said in the first 10 minutes last night that Meddy would've have been up a double break over Nadal. Nadal came out sub par and 10 min of Berretini grinding would've have been a completely different story for him. It was a disgusting performance from a pro. I hope he lost a lot of sleep last night.
@@meetommy3485 Med is best on hard court only. Until he beats Nadal in French or Djokovic in wimbledon, He cannot be called the best of the young
@@johnsuttoniiijs that 3.5 girl would smash you 0,0,0
@@StunnaDroppedYou not playing like that. Id put my skills up against anyone. It def wouldn't be 0 0 0.
Rafa just keeps getting better, smarter and fitter since being bed-ridden with Covid in December and foot injury before that. Just one more match to achieve 21-2-90!
@simom le He should lose the 8 pounds in about 3 months.
@simom le That's quite a bold statement, you an insider on his staff or something? And how does assuming someone has gotten more fit after training mean they don't know tennis lmao
Think about him at Rolland Garros in this form
@@jeffreykaufmann2867 He lost 4 kilos in the shapovalov match
@@jeffreykaufmann2867 lol you know nothing if you think 3 months -8 pounds is what any professional athlete goes for in that time period.

I am soo HAPPY too! You express my feelings

Let’s go Medvedev

Nadal exposed Matteo’s week backhand😂
You're right, and the comment comes from a Berrettini fan.. I did expect such a match from Nadal inspite one week before AO won a tournament.
Mateo exposed Matteos weak BH. His first two hours were a disgrace to professional tennis. Hoping he slept very little last night. It was shameful.
@@johnsuttoniiijs how did Matteo reached semi final is mind boggling to me🙂
@@90cents49 I still dont know how Gael lost that match.
@@johnsuttoniiijs Gael doesn’t take his matches seriously that’s his problem😌
Such a match 👌👌👌💯✔️
No matter what Rafa will be My G.O.A.T because how he managed to come to finals after 6 months off the court with foot injury and how he managed to do that everytime with injuries. What a heart! It doesnt mean i dont respect Novak and Federer. All three are greatest in their own way.
Novak owns him to head to head and will have more slams tho
Thank you Thank you
2:48 he is fit, 35 years old, a machine
Go Rafa!! He is so a great champion!!!
Il est légendaire
Rafael ! today you have the grand Final! I wish you victory! I will say this ! a great honor and a good game in the tournament and how much did you have to go through recently to be in this place ! good luck ! 👋👋👋
Vamos Rafa. Great work!
Legend!!!
When your weakness is your backhand and you are facing nadal this is not a good receipe for victory
so fucking true
Especially against a lefty. Turns Berrettini’s hairline crack into a seismic fault line
Federer can relate
excelente
¡Tremendo Rafa! And remember: he's been playing like this for 18 years, 18!!!
Grazie Berrettini!!! 🇮🇹
So well deserving 🤴
Nadal did a perfect job playing every ball at berettini's backhand...
What a game from both I’m so so happy for Rafa really deserved championship vamos 👏🏆🤩💙❤️
This definitely reminds me of Federer-Nadal. Berrettini with the big forehand, serve and backhand slice vs Nadal with the movement, big lefty forehand and impenetrable backhand
Go Rafa huge fan of you love watching him playing🎾 👋🏆🏅🎖️Rafaaaaaaa💖
que extraordinario Rafa, un modelo a seguir para toda la juventud
bravo matteo!!!
Berettini need dramaticly imrove his Back hand consistency!
Rafa's slice serve out wide is such a clutch shot
Berrentini looked very impressive and intimidating in his QF, not so much against Rafa. Who ever will dominate the next generation is not because they're better that the big 3, it will be only because they got old. All these players in their mid 20´s can't still put together 2 straight wins against Rafa or Novak.
Medvedev…
He was impressive in the QF because Monfils made two big tactical mistakes, and I think Nadal learnt a lot from that QF game and did the opposite today and put Matteo in big trouble which awarded him with the win..
Go look at his time spent on court this week. Sheesh take in the variables
@@OttoIncandenza I would not be surprised because time is catching up wit Rafa and Med is probably the best player of the new generation. But he’s not the next Federer/Nadal/Novak. By the time Nadal was 25 he already had 9GS, including 2 Wimbledon, 1 USO and 1AO, and that was playing against Federer in his prime. In my opinion, the next great player is not out there yet.
@@MB-el1ve well maybe not that great but still the next “great”
6.57min point 👌💯✔️👑
Rafa is a freaking monster...I'm huge novak n rafa fan.....but till the world ends, there would never ever b a gladiator like rafa on tennis courts ....his passion, perseverance, commitment, tenacity, skill and athleticism is unmatchable.......pray he ends up winning the slam
Así se juega, grande Nadal 👏👏👏👍😃😃💃🇪🇸...VAMOS RAFA
21 today, sounds very sumptuous for Rafa.Hope that he does achieve it,however I will not put it past Medvedev to spoil the party, like what he did to Djokovic at the U S open.On another note,Berrettini is realising how tough it is to play against any of the top 3.
Medvedev can certainly win, but he was almost untouchable at the last US Open, where he only dropped one set. He has dropped sets at this Australian Open so we shall see what happens
what time is the men's final plse for Nadal vs Medvedev match?
Can’t wait to hear Medvedev start grunting and mimicking Nadal the way he did with Felix in the Quarterfinals.
Lmao rt
Just an FYI on 6:23 - going the distance means 5 sets, not 4
The first set points editing to this video was not good. Berrettini looked like he woke up too late in the 3rd set. Nadal is just a proficient and precision player. Great tennis.
Vamos Rafa!!!!
03:45 Años atrás hubiera llegado a esa bola, aún así sigue siendo competitivo y ganador
la demanda fisica le hizo perfeccionar su tenis para ser menos defensivo, y mas ofensivo y tactico

Hahahha indeed...magenta victory! Vamos Rafa !
I know these young guys are talented and hungry, but they have to stop saying what they can do or what they are going to do before they do it. 1 down and 1 to go. Vamos Rafa!!
THE GOAT
Nadal is the most motivated and mentally toughest player on court 😅😂🤜🏼🤛🏼
Como se lo extraña a Rogers.
Incredibly happy to see Rafa make it back to an Australian Open final. I said if he at least makes the Quarterfinals then I’d be content since he’s coming back from injury. Now look at him make the final. Couldn’t be more happy for him. He has his hands full though with Daniil.
And Rafa will relish it!! Vamos!!!!!
when the cat's away, the mice will play
Maybe Beretini isnot used to Nadal's ball spin. Nadal reaction, shot placement , and volley ability is really good.
Just imagining if Djokovic was here It would be an excellent match 😎
Berrettini needs to be more Rosol-like on the return, go for the jugular. Once he chips the return back the point is over.
Berretini showed some real bullocks In the 3rd set.
Il faut lui remettre le trophée 🏆 du GOAT
Hey hey ✨👋👋👋👋 hey Nadal you know I was here watching and you know I'll be there Sunday na!!!!!!!!!!! You goooooooo gooooo you'll be fine goooood job patter 💕💕😘💕💕 love ya my friend you'll it.

REALLY wish you didn’t put the winner on the cover of each video! Wrecks the suspense. (But I appreciate the content!)
I hate Italia more now ! I have been to Spain and no joke Manacor through la Palma airport ! Amazing win !!! Wow 🤩
congrats Rafa..always enjoy Nadal plays
I'm shocking to see Nadal through to Finale, thank God! He's still the one of the best! Best of luck in the final for Nadal >.< Vamos!
4:42 that was a Wii Sports "out"
I don’t think he can beat medevdev right now, I don’t think anyone can probably Federer can because of the different style of play, short slice bring him forward and then hit the winner, I just think med, nadal and djoker has very similar play style and Rafa is 35 and is not gonna chase ballad like he used to so I am predicting straight sets victory, I am a Rafa fan but I am being realistic.
Dont be surprised if rafa wins, im a real rafa fan for the past 12 years, and im telling you he will shock you and all the 'realistic' haters.
It will be hard.. but Nadal should be very motivated. There is no guarantuee that he will also win the next RG (cuz as you said.. he is getting older). But now he is in a final for another title.. and he should give his all.
He can only win if he plays this shots with a decent length. It will be tough, Medvedev is playing very well.

The announcer messed up saying "it's going the distance!" Dude, they're starting the 4th set. lol
I wouldn't be too harsh on Berrettini... He lacks experience and a solid backhand. Both qualities you can work on it. We'll see him again very soon.
Does anyone else wish they wouldn't only put the winner in the thumbnail?
Nadal é um monstro...Jogador incrível !!! Mas o medo que eles tem quando jogam com o Nadal, os impede de serem melhores... Os impede de alcançar os pontos e serem mais agressivos... Viram presa fácil !!!

I think the arc we all want is for Rafa to win one more Australian this year, Novak to get his third French, and Roger to get his last Wimbledon, then Medvedev can win the US Open again, they can all retire at the same time, and the tennis world will be in harmony for the rest of time.
No Rafa needs ao French and Wimbledon. He hasn’t won Wimbledon and Ao in ages and nadal needs the French or he just isn’t nadal
