I find it interesting when Jonghyun says they have a "business" relationship. I don't doubt that they love each other and are friends because you can clearly see that based on their candid interactions. But I think what he meant was they value the group as a whole more and aren't going to let any personal feelings they have influence the group; which is good. And I think that's one of reasons they've lasted this long without any harsh scandals. They know how to keep their personal lives and business lives separate. I'm 100% sure at this point they consider each other like brothers, but with every healthy relationship, there needs to be boundaries.
I think that’s exactly what Jonghyun is aiming to achieve. Telling yourself that it’s a business relationship keeps your mind focused on the task and because it’s business it could end anytime, so they’ll have to reconcile whenever things get rough among them and they’ll have to discuss about the serious issues together to find a solution as a team. work is their priority, but friendship is not anything less, it’s just how they function, this is what I call being professional. much respect!

Thats wht i love about shinee. They are not fake. Not too exaggerating that they are super close though in fact they are really like brothers. I agree though, the first reason they get close this far originally because of business purpose.

Yup, me too. SHINee and Big Bang seems to be the most stable groups. Also, all of the members in these two groups all have their own works, and they also seems to doesn't cross each other's boundaries with one's business or personal lives so much, I think that's how they last this long without any members change or conflicts. However, of course, they fight, argue, disagree, and doesn't understand more or less about one another, but they truly learned how to solve it. That's what makes them strong teams, especially when it comes to Shinhwa on these terms.

There's also SHINHWA, they're from SM and did not lose any members. When the contract expired, the members were offered different contracts. But they chose to leave altogether so that they can stay together. And It's been 18 years.

I remember they would always mention the fight between minho and key before, but never understood the real reason why until now
They said before that Minho is younger than Key, but Minho is trainee for longer period than key. Among trainees they also have sunbaes and hoobaes despite age. Key wasn't happy when Minho ordered him to do things despite being same age. The misunderstandings became deeper. Another reason is that Minho thought Key is angry when Key spoke in dialect, when Key is not angry at all. This also caused a misunderstanding

I just want everyone to know that Jjong was happy. He wasn't sad all the time. I know 'cause I am just like him. It's just that there are times when negativity is eating us up. Just like what Jonghyun mentioned, he feels it more during winter and autumn. I know that he was happy whenever he was with his members.

So it's normal for people, especially suffering from depression, to feel worse during winter. I still struggle more during the winter months as well. RIP angel ❤

I don't feel bothered when they say it's business. This is their career, they have to see past personal relationships because this is their livelihood. Imagine being stuck in a dorm with a random person for multiple years then just by a roulette you get joined up with them and sign a contract lasting up to 10 years, you are stuck with those people for a long time and keeping a business relationship can actually keep things civil and more down to earth. I know from personal experience, living with someone can be the best way to start hating them. Think you'll be friends forever with someone? Live with them for a couple of years, you'll find something to fight about.
I think thats why Shinee’s friendship and bonding are so deep. They expect nothing from the first time they teamed up, keepin’ the good work for each other and respecting each other just as team member at first. But as time goes by, that’s the key that makes their relationship with each other are stronger, because they respect each other that much from the start and no one force them to be close, they just naturally closer

They remember how they met, why they met, what comes first and that's work. They signed the contract because of their dreams, they were put together to achieve those dreams. It was always hard at first, they all made mistakes but they knew how to handle it. Because to get the team going, one must know how separate personal issues and work . I think personally it's good that they fought and all, because everyone has their ups and downs and u can't anyone to be all happy and sunshine, some groups stay without any fight, some did, but what matters is how they solve it, once they got through it and accepted that they all have flaws, they will become closer and stronger as a team and friends. But i think they're more that those, they're family, they're brothers. Despite what happened to jjong, i hope the others will stay close together if not more than ever. I am so happy to see that these people, who started relationship as part of their business, were the one who sent jonghyun with his final steps. Love Ot5 forever.
Tbh there are only few groups that really have strong boundaries among the members. and for me SISTAR and SHINee is not just a bussiness partner they are family. Their friendship is so real and i love them

This was so fun to watch. Shinee is always so entertaining that I kept LAUGHING so much throughout the video. I kept thinking I can't wait to see them on more variety shows but, then it hit me... that jonghyun passed away. It felt so unreal when I heard about his passing I couldn't believe it. 5hinee will always be 5 members but, it hurts me that I won't be able to see jonghyun on stage anymore. I'm sad.
