BTG Bro thanks for sharing this! Been wanting Mario Multiverse forever but being in closed beta it's awesome someone came out with this.
This isn’t something I was expecting to enjoy, but it was fun watching you create a design concept. Speeding through the dull bits helped, of course. Perhaps you could make a sub series where you make levels.
This seems like the next best thing to Mario Multiverse. And in a way, it's even better cuz it's not a closed beta. Thanks for putting the download in the description. Can't wait to try this on my phone.

Mario multiverse kinda sucks ngl I mean they focus way to much on adding random themes instead of bug fixing and polishing the things they already have not to mention some of the tilesets in the game are just bad and keeping the game in closed beta for so long is kinda suspicious

This is really cool, they easily could have made a simplified version but they went out of their way to replicate the UI almost identically. Pretty impressive!

I play mario maker 2 pretty frequently and I gotta say that this is the best fangame I’ve seen in a while. It’s so accurate

If not that I think I would have called it a Romp.
The New Super Mario Bros. U style reminds me a little more of New Super Mario Bros. 2 than the first one. It's pixelated, but has a bit more details in the design that was more basic in the first game. The reflection of light off of Mario is one example.

Supertux would be well served with a maker like interface. It's an open source mario clone but it's pre SMM level editor isn't as user friendly. They could still keep the old one as an advanced mode.
This game is great! I like how its physics engine is almost spot-on! And Sub Areas are in the game, you have to tap and hold the pipe you want to turn into a warp.

Rolly Thwomp is called Grrrol, and the Forest Theme is the Autumn theme lol. And the pixelated NSMBU refeers to SMM3DS's NSMBU. I hope you liked the game anyways, your level is kinda intresting :D I've been playing the game for months, and I really appreciate the game itself, and I'm glad to see it becoming famous, because that's cool :DDD

Btw if you hold on frog power up in smb3 style then it turns to hammer suit same with Smb U with acorn into penguin
The nsmbu style looks suspiciously like the 3ds version of Mario maker nsmbu mario
It's based on the 3ds version for limitations and because it's more easy to get the sprites in that resolution

I think the NSMBU theme is pixelated because it probably uses sprites, whereas in mario maker 2 it uses models or something. I don’t know, I am not an expert on video games, but I’m pretty sure that’s also the case with the NSMB stuff with Mario Multiverse, which is why those don’t look quite like the original games.
I discovered that enemy, what looks like a cloud and blows clouds (you can get it from the twister gizmo) and the penguin suit from the NSMBU style. You could make a level based on those things.

Also i tried the game out and i think the same that it's cool.
5:02 sees what happens when you drag a character in to a pipe, says sub areas are not in yet when it fails to do anything (he thinks) This thing seems to use the SMM2 engine, pipes had to be set up as warp pipes in that before the sub world would be created, looks like BTG just put down pipes, which make solid pipes that you can't go down, but CAN stand on.
This game is so good! Would be even better with other new styles and music. Cant wait for the future updates xD

I tried the mobile port. It actually works perfectly, except the button layout.
Yeah I tried it on my GPD XD and it unfortunately has no controller support as far as I’m aware
I’m sad that this game was cancelled. It was so good! You can still download it, but the newest version isn’t available in all regions, and the Discord used to create and account is no longer active. Hopefully Mario Multiverse comes out soon!

I was initially confused about how this could get on any app stores before I remembered that Android allows for installing downloaded APKs. Which was exactly what I did _a few months ago._
