My son nun chucked the screen on his 15" Victus. Following your guide made it easy to replace. Luckily the adhesive didnt break on me. $70 for a new screen and 15 minutes of my time is way better than the $200+ HP wanted to charge. Thanks!

Dude. I hope you understand how much your repair video helped me out here in replacing my victus laptop screen. Had a mini heart attack when it turned on and showed no image. Where to find the replacement screen for this laptop with same quality as original. i got my screen replaced after i water damaged it. but it isnt the same quality as the factory screen
without the original lcd to get the model number off, tracking down another at the same Specs as what it was will be hard

Hey, my screen won’t release from the pins holding it in, the little bar is up and everything it just won’t release and I don’t want to break it. Is there a trick to release the pins?
I'm not too sure what you mean but the screens is held in by a smell double side adhesive
I was talking about the little bar plug that connects the screen to the computer not the adhesive. The 30 prong thing. The plug to the screen. Anyway thank you for responding to my question, 20 seconds after I posted it the thing came loose.

So, from what I saw, the attention to detail is lacking. You lay down the broken screen on the keyboard, which was scuffed. You didn’t apply the power cover sticker back correctly, it was wrinkled and folded. I’m sure you scratched up the outer shell in numerous areas. You should’ve had it laying down on a micro fiber cloth, I wouldn’t want my computer scratched up especially after I just paid 1400 bucks for it , me personally, I wouldn’t lay down a microfiber towel, wear latex gloves, and treated with respect, I wouldn’t have manhandled it the way you have.

So I replaced a cracked screen on my victus laptop, it was working fine before the replacement. Got eveything lined up and looking good, but it won't power on with the battery or the power cord. The power supply is good because the LED by the charger port lights up when plugged in. The battery was just working fine before replacement. Interestingly,i hav another same laptop and when i connect my same charger laptop charges up but not the screen replaced one. NEED HELP ASAP @rickstechrepair
Did you forget to disconnect the battery and charger before installing the new screen?
