I love her dress so much cuz obviously it's stunning, but also it references so many pieces of history. Like I wonder if the giant bow around the bronze dress is reference to the statue of liberty being a gift from the people of France to the people of the United States at the height of the gilded age. So unraveling the "gift" is not just showing the passage of time on the statue, but also how it became a symbol for further innovation that then led to architecture like Grand Central Station and the Empire State Building.

This one needs to go in the Smithsonian (or the Met collection?) like the Oscars "credit card" dress.

The great thing about Blake is that it's obvious how much fun she's having.
