    • Trisha Woods Typical, old, and tired excuse. Yeah, the Pats have been a great team, {year in and year out}, because of one constant: Tom Brady. Every other position has seen multiple personnel changes. And here’s where you bring in the “Belichick system”. You say, “You can put any QB into the Belichick system and they’d get the same results”. It’s a hypothetical statement for which you have no proof. The only proof you have is that Brady is the only QB who can do what Brady has done in the “Belichick system”. Lol Next!!!

      @jakabokbotch99@jakabokbotch995 жыл бұрын
    • @@TeamKP1 the patriots in their last 5 Superbowl appearances have had the bottom half of the defenses in the league. The second Superbowl against the giants, new England had the 31st ranked defense. This year they had the 24th ranked defense. Every year they are a top 5 scoring offense because of Tom Brady. Chad Johnson can't even catch 10 passes in New England and everyone thinks it's the players that make him look good but his most successful receivers were as slow as an average linebacker and 5 foot 10 inches tall. Also either undrafted and cut every year their entire career or played a different position their entire career until New England. Tom Brady is that offense because of his knowledge and experience. Back in 2004, I'd say the team was a working machine that each part pulled it along. Primarily the defense stifled other teams. Since 2006, Tom Brady has been the one peace that without, the patriots would never get to the playoffs. It was proven when Matt Castle failed with the same team the year after Brady took them undefeated. Castle took the Chiefs to the playoffs the next year so he wasn't a horrible QB. It just requires Brady to make an offense that complicated work effectively. Miss one read and you lost the window to complete a pass to the only open player. This year, their defense stepped up huge in the playoffs but it was still carried by Tom because every time they ran the ball, it was an audible by Tom because of what the defense was showing. His mind alone makes him more valuable than any QB in the league. Much like Payton Manning his last Superbowl except Tom can actually throw the ball 65 mph. He was clocked in the chargers game this post season. As it stands, you have 4 more years of trying to give Belichick all the credit for an offense carried team that he has no part of except for signing players. Tom makes the decisions and ultimately calls the play and scores the points. Bill just has to not let the other team do it as much as he does. He fails at that quite often. However he does usually have a playoff ready team by January. Like this year. They blew ass on D all year but finally come together in January. But without Tom putting up 30 points in the first 2 playoff games, the mighty belichick loses because his defense allowed an average of 29 points those 2 games. So yeah, Tom did this with help from people doing the one task they were given. Tom was given the past of knowing where and who all 11 people were on the defense each play and what to call in that situation. Then actually communicate that to his offense at the line and making the play work. Bill just keeps the defense focused on their one task. The O line coach is more valuable than belichick. Anyone can coach defense. Hell the damn browns get it done. The pats line is just retardedly dominate with no reason except for coaching.

    • @@justinmcwaters4962 Very well said. And it isn't bill b or the defense with 6 GW drives in the SB. Probably more if the D had held. Brady makes it happen. Need a field goal or a TD to win a big or post-season game? Against the best D in the league? And you get to pick the team to use to try and score with? Ima pick TB12.

      @scottstewart5784@scottstewart57845 жыл бұрын
    • @@scottstewart5784 I blame their defense for a lot of bad things in the past. 2007 was flat out BS and their defense would shut them out if they played again. They were top 5 best defenses ever in terms of yards and scoring. But horrible decisions by Junior and Bill cost 2 redone scores in that game. Then 2012 against the giants again, that defense couldn't stop a team if the defense has guns. Then the damn eagles. That was the dumbest shit ever. A fluke QB carve up the so called greatest head coach ever who was known to be a defensive mastermind? Bullshit. They never watched a bit of film or prepared for that game on defense. A QB throws 500 yards and 3 TDs and loses... Your defense was ass. However I believe that Tom Brady bought into Bill's mindset of preparation and through the years the locker room saw him working that hard and it built a culture that no one can duplicate because no one has an example like Tom. Yes the patriots are better prepared 90% of the time and they let you mess up then they never turn it over themselves. But I put Brady in the front as why it works because the team follows his example. If Bill says here's 8 hours of film, study it. If the best player and most respected player is still there at 11 pm, you're gonna get more participants because of that. If he's gone at 5 pm and his DVDs are still on his desk, probably not gonna get a lot of people to buy in. Hell, he's a legend and doesn't need to do it, why should I. But if he's a legend and still needs to do it, I damn sure need to. That's the Belichick system. AKA Tom Brady.

And as soon as their leagues started the pointspreads were started by men connected to them. Just do a quick search about Tim Mara, Art Rooney, Lamar Hunt, Carroll Rosenbloom, Art Model etc. And just about every owner of future teams came from similar backgrounds. But there is still a physical element of the game - you still need to be able to rip the ball in there when you have a tight window. Right now Brady can still make all of the throws....although they utilize the deep ball a ton less than earlier in his career. He isn't going to fall off a cliff - but eventually there will be a QB that Belichick feels provides them a better chance of winning. • The magic sauce, IMO, is that Brady was gifted with just enough athleticism, but no so much that he depends on that to be great. He has to be the best thrower out there, and he knows it, he has to be the best reader of the defense, etc....running and escaping and leaping...he's never going to be that. He's got the best brains, and he has improved every single year. That's really incredible. He doesn't blink, and comparing him with Rogers is just not fair; Rogers has blinked at key moments, even as great as he is. On top of all that, Tom believes in his teammates, and his teammates know this; it's almost like they're going into a battlefield ready to die for each other really.

  • I hate the people who think Aaron Rodgers could do what Tom is doing. No he can't, the line wouldn't be good enough. Let me explain why. The pay cuts he takes, the mentality as a man he has where it's on him, he does his part and doesn't place blame on his defense even though he should. Aaron Rodgers would be out of New England so fast, taking all the money in the world because he isn't the same type of winner that Tom is. Tom could be single without a wife who makes millions and still I believe take pay cuts to ensure everything around him is just as good. Because to Tom, all that matters is winning, for his teammates and to prove every single blasphemous media member that says because Aaron can zip the ball faster, that makes him better. You put Aaron where Tom is at and all that dude is gonna do is complain. Tom is a better leader, I'd take that any day over the one who throws marginally better.

    @girbanzobean@girbanzobean5 жыл бұрын
    • Agree to all that and ad that people forget he is a great offensive coordinator in real time. Other QB's are order takers. The other QBs might be faster, stronger and have better weapons, etc., etc., but Tom does the hardest part-- he does more homework and makes OC decisions.

      @jamie42172@jamie421725 жыл бұрын
    • Totally agree with what you said. This is exactly what I've been telling people. Rodgers has an ego, he wants all the money, he doesn't get along with teammates, he isn't the leader Tom Brady is. He might win 1 or 2 superbowls over three years but he would be out of there because of the demands he would make. The story about how Brady took Mahomes to talk to him privately after the game also just shows the kind of person he is. Rodgers would never do that. I forgot who it was but I heard one of the Pats' players was crying about not getting into the Pro Bowl and Tom Brady told him how he doesn't play for Pro Bowls but Super Bowls. That's his mentality, going after championships and having a killer instinct.

    • For me it boils down to two things... Aaron Rodgers looks prettier throwing the balls and he's more mobile... That's it. Note I say looks prettier... The one time brady had an elite receiving corps he had better numbers than Rodgers ever has. Compare their primes... Brady's was better... By some way. And I'm going off production not just wins. Everyone hand waves the fact that brady is better mentally even though it's been shown time and time again to have a profound impact on sporting performance... Even if we throw a bone to Rodgers' fans and discount that... I'd make the argument prime Brady was better mechanically. Or at least as good. Certainly as productive, more so in fact. Because stats and aesthetics are the only thing Rodgers really has going for him. What I've noticed is people compare the two now... In what realm of reality do you compare a man in his prime to a 41 year old? When you need to ballance the deck. People seem to have forgotten brady in his prime and conflate his game today with his prime.

  • I wouldn't put Aaron Rodgers in a top 10 list of the Greatest quarterbacks. The guy is elite, but he's not Greatest of All Time material. Here's some factors that make a GOAT: They don't complain, they have a team mentality, great leadership and example, they don't make excuses or even accept some of the blame. They do much with little. The all-time greats, such as Brady, Montana, Manning, Elway, Favre, Staubach, and Marino, have some if not all of these qualities. If Aaron Rodgers doesn't have a good defense and good offensive weapons, he won't do well. The Packers' wide receiver corp would be a godsend if Brady had them. We tend to forget that the Patriots don't have to expend much on the offense because Brady will do everything with nothing. He's made 2 Super Bowls with bottom 5 defenses. He won this super bowl with Edelman, Hogan(who has fallen off this season), Dorsett, who nobody knows, and Cordarelle Patterson, who returns kicks. Brady doesn't complain when they lose to non-playoff teams in the regular season. Aaron Rodgers never shuts up. He never was and definitely isn't top 10. I would maybe, MAYBE put him in a top 20 list. My top 10 Qb's of all time: 10. Drew Brees. So underrated. By far the most accurate passer in NFL history, and the all time passing yards leader has to be on this list. 9. Fran Tarkenton. The first real Scrambler. Changed how Quarterbacks can pass and throw, as well as helping create the option run. 8. John Elway. He, and Montana, helped to create the 2 minute drill, changing how offenses run in the 4th quarter. He also, of course, orchestrated "The Drive". 7. Roger Staubach. Another great Scrambler, but could wow you with his arm. He'll always be better than Aikman in my opinion. 6. Brett Favre. A Gunslinger to end all gunslingers. Ignore his ugly interceptions, the guy thought he could make every pass and usually did. 5.Johnny Unitas. This guy is a fuckin legend, and if you haven't heard some of his stories then you're missing out. He once was sacked and pushed into the mud in one game, called the same play, let the same guy get into the backfield, and broke his nose with the football. Wow. 4. Dan Marino. This guy threw for 48 touchdowns in 1984, in an era when 20 touchdowns was amazing. Also: his Dolphins ran for like 600 yards that season. Not exactly hard to gameplan against such a one dimensional offense yet he still amazed. Would be higher if he got a ring. 3. Peyton Manning. The regular season GOAT, with 5 MVPs. To win Superbowls with different coaches is not easy, and is a testament to his ability. He also completely changed how quarterbacks changed the play at the line of scrimmage. 2. Joe Montana. I mean, come on. Joe Cool could lead a comeback whenever you needed it. Its not even a challenge. He'd be the undisputed GOAT if not for a certain 6th round draft pick. 1. Tom Brady. I don't even need to explain it, so... tell me what you guys think

    • The 2018 footage was needed. Kellerman in July 2016 said Brady would be terrible by middle of the 2017 season (then we see he won MVP). After the super bowl 52 loss Max, when asked "Did we see the Brady cliff?" says "We wont know until next year." Then Max, after disregarding the preseason, says week 1 is the cliff game for Brady. Tom Brady, according to Max's predictions, was not supposed to be any great in the 2018 season. YET he gets the Patriots back to the super bowl, winning on the road vs a high powered offense.

      @cypher787@cypher7874 жыл бұрын
    • "their defense did" When did the defense get a scoop and score or a pick 6? They didnt. So zero points scored by the defense. The Patriots' defense played great but so did the Rams', who have Wade Phillips at DC and defensive MVP Aaron Darnold. The defense's efforts dont matter if special teams and the offense dont score any points. Thats why the Rams arent super bowl champions right now. "like garbage" Firstly his pick was in the first quarter. Since 2,000 the Patriots havent scored a TD in the first quarter of a super bowl. So historically speaking, an early first quarter pick isnt a big deal. No turnovers by him the rest of the game, despite a great defensive performance by the Rams. Brady made the throw of the game with a perfectly placed pass to Gronkowski that set up the game's only TD. He has no TDs because he didnt throw the ball to a reciever who then got into the endzone. But considering he threw a 29 yard pass to get the Patriots on the 2yd line (largest gain of the night) in a tight super bowl, I doubt anyone seriously cares about that stat (shoulda been the 1 or half yd line but not a big deal). The Patriots arent gonna call a pass play on 1st and goal on the 2yd line in the super bowl; they arent the Seahawks. In the passing game Hogan couldnt get open (hence 0 for 6), Dorsett was nonexistant, White and Patterson were barely there, Gronk was there, but we all know how beat up his body is, so the only reciever Brady could get consistent production out of in the passing game was Edelman. So I dont buy that Brady himself played like garbage. Its no secret that the WR corps was much weaker in the 2018 season, hence them going out to get Josh Gordon, who they didnt have in the super bowl. Given what he had to work with vs what he was up against, I'd say he played about as well as you can hope to play in a super bowl like that. The Patriots had back to back scoring drives late game after the game plan was changed. They probably would have scored even more points had they not run out of time. But thats football.

  • I don’t understand how people say Aaron Rodgers is better then Tom Brady. That makes no sense in any universe. Aaron Rodgers is an good quarterback but Tom Brady is much more talented and improves his team mates to want to play better and makes unknown players known players. In the end championships prove who’s the better quarterback in the end.

  • Really well done video, bravo! Seeing these guys eat crow is so satisfying for me, imagine how it feels for Tom? We saw and witnessed what in time will be talked of for many many years. The rise and reign of the GOAT. Any true football fan will agree, that Dynasty will remain supreme. Look up mighty Mack Herron, I watched those teams as a child. This for me was simply magnificent. Best wishes Tommy, you'll always be our boy. Thanks TB12 for 20 years of tense games, I enjoyed watching every single one.

  • I'm English. NFL doesn't have the profile outside the US of other sports, which is a shame because many haven't witnessed just how great Brady was. For me, who started watching it in 1982, Brady is an actual true great right up there with Pele, Maradona, Woods, Federer, Bradman, Warne, Jordan, and Lomu as players who were so special they are on another platform.

  • Kellerman is NOT held accountable as a FALSE PROPHET. He has won 3 AFC East Championships, went to 3 AFC Championship Games, went to 3 Super Bowls, won 2 Super Bowls, won 1 Super Bowl MVP and won 1 NFL MVP in the 3 seasons since Max Kellerman made this prediction. What else will Brady do to bury Kellerman's weak reputation forever?

  • One More Fact: The last QB to win more than 2- Super Bowls -26 years ago - Troy Aikman-3 Super Bowl wins -in only 12 seasons career. Now that's a clutch QB. True measure of a great QB is being able to finish. League wins - MVPS- playoff appearances are great stats but if you don't finish and win the Super Bowl it means nothing. No one remembers who was second. Also Brady not only is the goat statistically he has now made it possible for all QBs in the future to know it's possible to play into your 40's and be successful.
