A GIANT pit bull has smashed a previous weight record at one of the US’ premier breeders. Romper is the pride of Tennessee-based ProBulls - a pit bull breeding and training company known for its huge dogs. Previously, the king of ProBulls was the 182-pound ‘Kong’, who unfortunately passed away two years ago. Now Kong’s son Romper has surpassed his father’s record, weighing in at an incredible 183.4 pounds.

    • They can probably push 130 if they aren't an American pit bull terior but if they are reaching weights of 170 they definitely are mixing them with mastiff

  • Can i ask a gwnuine question plse ? im in uk where we are having issues withnand the ban of american bully xl s being called pitbulls etc so im wondering what your thoughts and are these pitbulls or bullies ? what is your definition of both ? sorry if put on the spot as it were but am an owner of a classic bully and the more info and or reputable opinions the better stunning dogs by the way

  • To let you know that's these dogs are not pitbulls, these are American Bullies, they're a different breed, people do mistake them as pitbulls, they're sort of related to Pitbulls. The difference between the two, is that Pitbulls are taller, but pitbulls can get up to 100lbs, where American bullies they're more muscular, but shorter than pitbulls, which means they can get up to 180-190lbs, mostly males.

  • Big critters… I’d like to know a little about the bloodline. I see Pitt & some English/American English, there’s something else I can’t pin down. I see the “tri” was introduced in those puppy’s….did Kong carry the merle gene? It’s too early for this… thanks for sharing!

    • @@selveybey Thank You!!! I should have listened to my gut…the head & mudflaps, thick body from chest to tail, like a brick(no chisel). I’m not familiar with the different types of Mastiff’s, but obviously it’s time to do the research. They are at the beginning of the Bulldog line & seem to be showing up everywhere these days! When ya got it, ya got it. I’ve always loved the working dog, they’re wired differently…they respond in extremes, too damn smart, keep ya on your toes. It’s an adventure. Been living with Pits for 40 yrs, wouldn’t trade one day. Thanks again man…time for me to go back to school! Stay Safe, Be Well

  • "we don't get into any bite work" this breed absalutey can, but theses dogs.. absalutey cant!!! xl bullies are on average 90-140 MAX should NEVER be that big. This is NEGLECT
