  • Love love love yard sales. But we are fortunate to have a thrift store near me that always charges $1 for all clothes and $2 for shoes. It nice to have yard sales prices year round! And because it’s a favorite local charity shop, they get a ton of really great stuff. I got a pair of like new Veronica Beard pumps in there for $2. 😮👏🏻😮‍💨

  • Le Canadian is a top Montreal brand. I believe they cost about $300. Good haul, and lumpy does not need a push cart, he is so active!. Good luck with new floors, you’ll never regret that!

  • Rummage sales are the best! I'm still working through some of my death pile from last summer's sales. The only thing that's hard is the timing can be tough when you have have a busy weekend - especially if you're trying to make the bag sale.

  • I prefer thrift stores. I live in the city and don't own a car so it's hard to find "yard" sales in the area. I rent a car and go out to the suburbs every few months but I'd rather hit up all the Savers, Goodwill, Salvation Army and independent resale shops instead of driving around in residential neighborhoods. But I know you can find great vintage things at estate sales so I might check those out some time!

  • I love the bins. I like garage sales but they are hit or miss and can be a big waste of gas. At the bins I know I will bring home 40-60 items in one trip

  • Glad you didn't get that stroller for Lumpy. He's way too young and active to be cooped up like that -- better to leave him at home. Those strollers are meant for senior or disabled pets who enjoy an outing but are unable to walk very far
