Why Are US Aircraft Carriers STRATEGICALLY Deployed Worldwide?

Where are all the US Navy ships right now? From the Red Sea to the depths of the South China Sea, the US Navy plays a crucial role in shaping global maritime security. How do they prepare for unexpected attacks? Recently, the Navy has increased its presence in the Red Sea, with destroyers actively taking down drones and missiles from Iran-backed Houthi rebels. This intense conflict highlights the Navy's operational readiness and tactical agility in the face of ongoing threats. What makes their missions critical to our everyday security?
Moreover, the US Navy is strengthening its longstanding alliances in the South China Sea, recently through joint maritime exercises with the Philippine Navy. But this is just the beginning... What missions is the US Navy currently undertaking? Let's explore each area to see what's happening and where the ships are.
The US Navy, a force to be reckoned with, safeguards American interests across the globe with over 336,000 dedicated sailors and reservists. From surface combat and submarine missions to air support and covert operations, the Navy's versatility is unparalleled. But what exactly does this entail?
Equipped with the world's most advanced ships and submarines, including the mighty Nimitz-class aircraft carriers and stealthy Virginia-class submarines, the Navy is always ready for action, everywhere at any time. Their missions range from direct combat to humanitarian aid, all driven by core values of honor, courage, and commitment.
How does this impressive force translate into action against today's threats? And how do these sailors remain prepared for the unforeseen?

With seeing this first hand, and calling it in, its something you just cannot explain. And the distance they can fire from is ridicules. "It only takes one to win a war." thanks for the episode.

    • 16:00 Don't know what u mean. The US Military is the ULTIMATE EMBODIMENT of Multiculturalism, and has been for MANY DECADES. For example, while Black GIs comprised approx. 33% of all front-line troops during the Vietnam War, Blacks constituted only 11% of the TOTAL U.S. population. I also, for example, remember when in 1967, the first Black USAF pilot to be accepted into the Astronaut program was killed at Edwards while attempting to instruct a White pilot (his best friend) on how to land the incredibly fast - but very difficult to land, due to its very narrow undercarriage - F-104 Starfighter. Anyway, the Black instuctor pilot, rank of major, while ordering his student to eject, stayed with the vehicle but was killed. So while I could cite many, many more examples of extremely patriotic Black Americans (and ALL ethnicities) who have been proudly serving our Great Nation for MANY years, for now I will only say that you are misinformed. You should educate yourself on the LONG history of Black soldiers, airmen, and sailors who have, and still serve, in greater numbers and at higher ranks than ever, in our Military. No offense, but did you just arrive in this country or something?

  • How about an episode about the helicopters stationed on aircraft carriers? 🤓

    @juanjohnhoya@juanjohnhoyaАй бұрын
    • For your information, I was in 2 helicopter squadrons that deployed on aircraft carriers. No question about it, a squadron of 6 helicopters has to be on board. They provide Anti-Submarine warfare capabilities, search and rescue, vertical replenishment, and plane gaurd, intelligence gathering and disaster assistance. When a carrier unties from the pier to set sail, it doesn't move unless a helicopter from the ship is in the air. This should tell you about their importance.

And then you have these clowns that want to get out right away trying to scam the U.S Gov for for a 100% VA disability benefits for slight PTSD and slight hearing loss, and they'll try to get high GS positions of the same jobs they had during service with high pay while taking many day offs to see their medical physicians at the VA hospitals. 🤡

  • I'll tell you what 🤔 If we only have 500 single pack of tomahawks or otherwise that are dispensed thereof. We are in a world of crap ! Navy proposed a 500 pack ship with a very low profile. They said it would deplete their stockpile. Very interesting. This is what happens when you let civilian senators and congressmen have total control over the ability of the dod. It should be limited and when things get hard and difficult for concept. Just like the Ford was for the power plant and the cats in the traps. Need to keep pushing forward. Not throw billions of dollars down the toilet. Scrapping the steel for pennies on the dollar. A billion dollar shit for a couple million dollars that is not improvement. Congress flexes their muscles with the department of defense for this simple reason that they can. This is the reason why we're trillions of dollar in debt. 30 billion here. 10 billion there it adds. Proof of concept is difficult to say the least. If the concept could not be proven in preliminary status, it would never go through to build. The Ford class Carrier has the power to run 4 railguns all at the same time as running the 4 cats including traps. Concept has been proven but yet it just sits there. 50 mm Cannon on the front of destroyers of our arleigh Burks is nothing less than waste of space. You want to put something scary on there. Put a railgun on it. It is a large package in conception. But has been compressed to a smaller unit. All it takes is power. Congress is the one that is throwing billions of dollars down the toilet at 75% completion or 95% completion? That is ridiculous to say the least. Traded our f-14s that were totally meant for air-to-air interceptions. Of course, like any military due to the constraints they have to add on extra crap. Just like the Huey. Which pay it off in Vietnam. But the Kiowa a recon Total recon that is so quiet but can't be anymore because they have to put zumi rocket pods on it and add more weight with chain guns. I could go on and on with a 5 Page what for 🫣 everybody need to contact their congressmans and let them know why we are trillions of dollars in debt. When things get a little hard they want to quit every damn time. They're not cheap when you're paying Federal payroll. I don't know who enacted that, but a civilian contractor such as Newport or any other should be getting paid by the owner that is supplying the product. Doesn't require Federal pay or the amounts thereof. That's a trillion dollar debt there. Congress is supposed to tighten the budget and trim it, not cut it in half at the detriment of our defense budget. There is what's called a black budget that can never be questioned. It is automatically passed. It requires no signature or nothing. That black budget goes to the dod for the conception and proof of conception. The State of affairs of our Navy are fair right now. We were always supposed to have a 3rd fleet. It would be called the 8th Fleet. We can't keep the 6th and 7th Fleet up to par. If it were not for for our carrier jump ships attack ships. Those are the smaller virgins of the USMC carriers. We would be in a world of crap ! We can build as many of them as we can and they should be. The 500 pack usn/ ship should be made. The concept has already been proven and if all we have is 500 tomahawks in our inventory. Then we have a problem. A standard of 70 to 90 single per destroyer 40 to a cruiser. Every time they are depleted they have to take a a cruise. Probably a 2K cruise to get out of range of the battle to be reloaded 👀🥺 I'm a little confused here. All that money put into a ship that could not be Ras at Sea that is totally ridiculous. That is why we're pushing for the 500 class Navy ship that can hold a good proportion to meet the proportional of the instigator if it be China or Russia whomever. With overwhelming Force. Not tit for tat. I'm just an old usn rotorhead and I'm tired. Appreciate all the work that you do, especially bringing all these things to light to the public. Especially to the US citizens and Patriots and vets. I wish this channel a good journey and thank you for your service 🕊️🕊️🕊️ ps, sorry for the bio

  • The US Navy should guard the US and the oceans around it...not the world. The US would be FAR better off without politics dictating its roles

    • Then the Russians or Chinese get to dictate policies? No thank you. It costs us dearly but at least we’re not a dictatorship…for the most part anyway. We try to promote freedoms, not just do it our way or you’re dead or in jail. Fine line sometimes I guess.
