I agree with you bro, needs some love for big map! I think the player count needs to go back to 150 and needs some attention. Verdansk would be the biggest w in the last two years of WZ, but still rebirth is a w just shouldn’t be the focus!
Only reason I disagree is CoD stinks at 150, servers are garbage and cant handle it. Right now at least at 100 i'm not skipping around the map the first 5 minutes. I run fiber gig internet. It's a problem on their end and I've noticed play count certainly seems to affect it. I'd rather get 5 less and wins, then die lagging out busting a door on a corner camping, riot shield.
I think 120 would be the perfect middle ground
A reason for them to add high drops for Gulag Entry kits, Redeploy Tokens and cheaper buy backs is to compensate for the 50 missing players... but all that does is just add more training wheels to the game and the map actually feels busier with the faster and shorter zones, which makes all the easier buy backs/redeployments a bit pointless, since there's no place to land back that isn't clustered with players... kinda makes the big map feel like we're playing Ressurgence.

Verdansk had so many POIs that you could land blindfolded and when you take off the blindfold you know exactly where you are and where scything else is in relation to you. I knew that city. These other maps are just hap hazard buildings it seems. And the small maps are just rooftop multiplayer.

They need to bring back verdansk. They are going to continue to lose players over not doing solid updates to everything evenly.
The reason of verdansk being good was one shot snipers, it made pushing areas of the map very difficult, now with redeploy balloons and no risk for teams out in the open the whole dynamic is changed

They need to resurrect the original verdansk and not f with it. You know they're gonna f it up just like everything else they touch. Just bring back the original with all the weapons and perks, lose sbmm/oemm, perma ban all cheaters ip's, quit shoving bundles down people's throats, and let people have fun since that's what video games are for.
As someone who’s played warzone here and there , but starting to really play it more in liking grinding the big map a lot more . I actually totally agree w/ nick , also helps he has homies to just frag out w constantly ! Haha

Small map resurgence is the most fun on Urzikstan. The map plays really well when limited to certain portions.

Verdansk needs to come back. Rotate the maps every three days or something like that. There are lots of Big maps now. Refresh some of the older ones and rotate.

I love playing regular BR, but I don’t have the time like I had in the lockdown days. So I play resurgence because the games are quicker and I can get more reps in (especially when playing solo). Although can’t wait for Verdansk to come back.
They need to give it more love. Love the big map - but speed up the circle. Wait a little bit longer to drop the load outs. And make it so you have to get another load out to get both weapons. That has half the fun, scrambling to get money to get the load outs.

The big map is the foundation. Resurgence caters to the casual crowd because you can just come back it gives them the feel of playing warzone without them having to value thier life as much.

All my buddies hate big map. So I usually always play solo battle royale but when I play with them we only play resurgence
Warzone big map is absolutely where it’s at, if you’re a multiplayer kinda guy then rebirth is for you. But me imo big map is way better, more long term strategy wise. For casuals, way better.
resurgence has been the bigger wz game mode for a very long time now. i definitely think the stubbornness about bringing back verdansk has impacted that, but it's also nice for casuals to not have to worry as much about dying. it has the br aspect with the forgiveness of a multiplayer game mode.

I’ve always personally much preferred Battle Royale big map for Warzone and would have really liked to see ranked in it. I’m glad the resurgence players are having a ton of stuff added including ranked on Rebirth. I’ll run some resurgence every now and then, but just surely prefer BR and wish it got some love

I recently saw a video by a "pro" basically saying big map is dead. The brunt (meaning millions of players) are all on Resurgence, it is the closest to the perfect mix between BR and Multiplayer, I myself HATE BR, and tried Resurgence recently, although SBMM gets frustrating sometimes, it is super fun. Plus, small map = more gun fights = improving your skills. Small map is "the future" from the business perspective of Activision.

Call of Duty is adding Rebirth Island in the next season. So if Rebirth is back then Og Verdansk map will be back too(maybe updated)
They are adding vaults to the big map but thats not enough
Small map and resurgence is the future of Warzone. Most casuals prefer that style of play. With that being said, Resurgence should not have a ranked mode, but big map should. Big map is more competitive and penalizes dumb plays that you get away with in Resurgence.

I had a PS4 last year and this big update happened and my PS4 could not take it (no diddy) and I couldn’t play after that, it’s crazy bc I just had paid for 21 Savage skin and some guns. I haven’t been able to use em so I just sold my ps4 acct and all. I was pissed, I felt robbed and unappreciated as a loyal, faithful customer to Call of Duty. Now and days I play COD MOBILE and I try my best not to spend any money.

I’m being honest about BR / Big maps. I don’t care for it, it’s full of sweats/hacker’s and to make matters worst. Activision legit nerfs you as a player as well and it’s sooo noticeable when you have full plates and get brought down with just 4/5 shots. It’s ridiculous and blatant what Activision does..

Me personally. I just like resurgence more. It’s faster and the games are quicker. You can end up playing for like a hour on big map. I like to get in, Get the kills and get out.

Honestly they need to remove the free to play aspect so less cheaters are in public lobbies, game after game I encounter lag switching, aim boting, wall hacks. Makes the game so unenjoyable

I feel like we started with multi player, then we got big map br, now it's starting to trend back to resurgence/multiplayer. Which is pretty sad. I mean I love rebirth, but I love big map better. Need verdansk back ASAP. With ranked BR
Totally agree have lots of love for rebirth island but nothing beats getting the W on the big map with the crew. They just seem to be focused on the run and gun community at the moment hopefully they manage to quell the hackers because rebirth island is going to go down like a lead ballon if every other player is wall hacking with aimbots
