John Miller If her fellow Brazilians Cyborg and Nunes can grasp fair command of the english language then so can she so I don't doubt it. But keep in mind that Jose Aldo has been in the fight game for years and has made no real attempt to learn english which is confusing because if he had he'd have been more marketable.

Well, I'm Brazilian and I was able to watch all Ariane's fights until this point. This division has a legit champion. Valentina is way above average and everyone who follows the sport knows that so far we don't see any true contender capable of beating her. I'm kinda shocked with the zero buzz that Lipski got so far for her debut. I see her going through any challenge that the UFC put in front of her until Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko included. Ariane has the skills, she's young and gorgeous, so I see her becoming a star in the division in the near future.

Why dont brazilians speak english? Not in school system?
I'm Brazilian, we do learn English grammar in school, I don't know if some fighters dropped school or what, there are private schools to learn English here in Brazil but they suck, they are expensive and don't teach conversation, so I've learned a lot on the internet by just watching movies and stuff like that so I can understand and speak well I suppose, and there's the fact that some fighters don't even try. Sorry for the big text and grammar mistakes, I'm still learning. :)
