In this video, I played my first MONTH in Moonstone Island, which is no doubt my favorite game of 2023. My goals were to set down some roots and explore as many new islands, temples, and dungeons as possible while also building up a farm of wild spirits to take care of. Will I be able to rise to the occasion and complete my training to become an Alchemist? We'll have to see! I hope you enjoy 🏝

  • It's so cool that the blacksmiths name is Ferra!! Latin-based languages tend to have words for iron that start with "Fer", with Ferro actually meaning "iron" in both Portuguese and Italian! Ferra is therefore just a feminified version of a word that literally just means iron! This is also why on the periodic table, iron is Fe

  • What's funny is that the quest tab lists clay as one of the matetials you can get from spirits 🤣 Just a quick tip, it's best to try and keep the decks small. Ideally, you don't want your spirits individual decks getting more than 10-15 cards. The smaller the deck, the more efficient and easier it is to upgrade your cards with the meditation cards from the arches. I notice you have a couple of focus cards. You can upgrade it so every tackle card is free to use for the duration of the entire combat encounter. Also you don't have to fight monsters to capture them you can feed them immediately and the crazy starfish looking monster will give you either 10-20% bonus to taming with its "friendly face ability".

  • I def did not make the connection of using the balloon to cross rooms in the dungeon. I've been making a ton of bridges to get thru them and then spending too much too picking the bridges up on my way back. lol. thank you. Put that in a tip video if you make one!
