Lol its weird to think I subbed like 2016 doing wheelies and I just watched you break in a outboard and was fully invested the whole time haha guess some of us will watch you guys do anything haha
Haha man I appreciate it! A lot has changed since 2016 and honestly I got bored making only bike videos but still enjoy making them. Our track season starts up next weekend so expect lots more bike content for next few months 😄
Same here I was researching the Ninja 1000 back then and found his 20,000 mile review Now we’re breaking it boat motors💯 Awesome 👍🔥
Stoked about this new Yamaha F25, super light and fast! Stay tuned to see what she’s going on next 😉
Redesigned in 2017. It shakes more than older design because it's balance shaft is part of crankshaft vs a dead cylinder. That's how they dropped 25lbs off the older model.
Ahh that makes sense, I’ll take the vibrating over my old 2 stroke any day haha
@@SALTxTHExWOUND the two stroke vibrates more actually. I have had all 3 of em. Still id take the f25 over the Suzy or mercury if weight matters.
Thanks for posting this! I JUST purchased the same 2024 outboard (and OTF jack plate) and needed to see this. I also like how you leveraged the jack plate to add a shallow anchor pole slot. Id like to add a tiny tachometer like you have -- did you add that yourself? If so, how?
Dang! That looks like a nice setup. 😎👊❤☀🎣
Thanks Randy! Loving the new motor!
@@SALTxTHExWOUND 😎👊
nice video, I'll be getting this same motor just with power trim/tilt. Where did you get that tiny tach on your yamaha?
On Amazon, just type in 4 stroke outboard tachometer and hour meter 👍🏻
Do you think that the weight of the yamaha 25 and the jack plate on the transom is too much for the LT10? Seems to run fine in the video but I'd like to hear your thoughts. Considering the yamaha 25 (although ~30 lbs heavier) over a 20hp for my LT10 because I could move it to a larger skiff in the future. Love your content and your gheenoe videos are sweet.
Hey thanks man, I would say 20hp is the sweet spot on the LT10, BUT if you do plan on keeping the motor for a bigger skiff later on then go with the 25hp it's not too heavy for the LT10 at all, it will fly though, I got 34mph out of it solo. I have the motor mounted on my LT25 now and it's the perfect fit. I get 28-29 with a passenger and 30 solo. Thanks for watching!
That thing must fly I I had a 15 horse for stroke Mercury on my LT 10 Then I upgraded to a new 2023 20 horse and I get an extra 5 miles an hour out of it. I was thinking about a 25 but I thought it might have been a little too big After seeing this I wish I did
It definitely did! Once I broke it in a repropped it I was able to do 34mph 😂
@@SALTxTHExWOUND What size prop was that
On the LT10 I had to run a 13p aluminum prop and it would climb to 5900 RPM at 34mph I now have the same motor on my LT25 and I'm running an 11p aluminum prop at 29mph and 5800 RPM but I''m about to get a 10p Stainless SRA3 Powertech prop bc I'm limited on how high I can run the motor with the aluminum@@craigherbert200
Do you still got your bike? I love the vid tho bro
Yes sir! New videos on the bikes today and this saturday, stay tuned!
How to you power your bilge pump?
On this rig I had a small lithium ion battery in the center box that powered the bilge
What happened to TOHATSU??? you gave up on tohatsu??
Decided to go with Yamaha on this build. Tohatsu is a good brand as well.
