My 2002 VTX 1800R still works just fine.😊
I also got a vtx, its 2004 1300 c model, it still runs great, never had any issues out of it.
The VTX 1800 is a model Honda should still be making. It's definitely one of the best V-Twin cruisers ever produced...
What we need in the west, and this includes Europe, is for Honda to start selling the BG350s here. Those make for some really neat commuters and backroad bikes.
Good production : Honda make great machines, but with little imagination.
Africa-Twin looks awesome.
My Line up of Honda Quads, or ATV : 1991 Honda 250X, I bought it new. 2008 400EX, 2014 Honda 400X. All "Sport Quads" Honda No Longer Sells Anything Like A Real Sport Quad, I had one of them Junky 250X in 2019, it could not even compete with the Old 1991 250X. So Now For 2024 I'm Crossing the Road, and Getting the Yamaha 700R SE. Honda Decided to Put All there Eggs in One Basket, and Build SxS's. At 59 Yrs. Old, I'm not Yet Old Enough for A SxS! I'm Still Keeping All of My Honda Quads, as they are Great Machines!

I've owned a lot of Hondas over the years, and my current daily ride is a 2001 Valkyrie Interstate. There isn't a new Honda that I'd buy even during a 50% off sale. I hope that their new marketing strategy of "Boring & Ugly" works out for them.

I feel the same looking at these, they are absolutely awful, look like they were designed by an angry computer with a colour pallet selected by the school for the visually impared, this range of bikes should only be veiwed in a dark room with no lights on whilst wearing welders goggles. Ive never seen such a crock.

There's nothing in this lineup that makes me want to go in for a closer look. Then again, I'm not seeing anything in anyone else's lineup that's any better. Oh well, bring on the '25's.......

I had a '97 Cbr 1100xx Blackbird, brilliant bike. Can't find one now. Also '84 CB 650 Sc, shaft drive, hydraulic lifters, lucky if you can find one.
The Honda Nighthawk 650 was my 1st bike. It was a real tour-de-force. I did see one in my neck of the woods this past spring.
just one point - the NC750x and the Transalp XL750 do not have similar BHP --- 58 vs 91

what is going on with the 2024 Africa Twin? Otherwise great lineup, love Honda. Great vehicles. Reliability and durability as it should be, not the throwaway culture of the 21st century.

If Honda would make the VFR1200 with friendlier ergonomics and taller gearing. I test drove one and started out in 3rd gear and felt like I'm aways trying to shift to a higher gear when I was already in 6th.
HONDA needs to bring back the 2stroke...and all the best bikes

Wish they would bring the ADV350 to the US. ADV160 not quite enough umph to jump on the highway. Gue I'll be looking for my first non-Honda (have had the PCX150, Africa Twin, Goldwing and NC750X).
NC750DCT would probably be a fun and practical bike to have
@@rogerthat1553 It definitely is! The Africa Twin was too tall. The Goldwing too heavy. The NC750 was just right. Sold it due to health issues and thinking a scooter might still let me ride.
I bought a GS1250 IN 2018 and it's a great bike but next bike will likely be an Africa Twin. Great video.
Still waiting for Honda to get it that there are many of us (USA) with a PCX or an ADV that we love that would love the ADV350 even more. I've written Honda and I continue to bang on my dealer.
I'm putting a deposit on an ADV 160 this week. I've never owned any type of scooter or motorcycle before. I'm really excited to say the least.

The Honda Shadow Aero/Phantom, possibly the Sabre as well, are catching my eye for a first bike to look at owning . Doug🏍️
My first bike was an old Kawasaki Vulcan 800 - similar in weight and power to the Honda Aero/Phantom bikes. Great starter bike, but I outgrew it in a few months. These are great bikes to start on and for riding around town!
Sabre is the best of your choices. Triple disc brakes, cast wheels. Plenty of them on Facebook marketplace.

Why is there a waiting list for the green CT125 trail if it’s so ugly? Plus dealers are asking full retail for them plus freight. If you try to haggle price, they have people lined up to pay full price. I have two 2023 Metropolitans (blue and white), a 2023 CRF300, ADV 150, and a 2023 CT 125 trail. I can’t stop anywhere without someone coming up to me to ask me about my CT 125 Trail. They can’t believe that it’s brand new and full of modern technology. Then they tell me about the old trail that they used to ride. I really love my Trail. Each one has a separate purpose that they work perfectly for. What else can you say, they are Hondas!
Mopeds have pedals. The Cub is not a moped. In-fact, Honda doesn't make a moped for the US market. It gripes my a$$ when scooters are referred to as mopeds.
Moped means motor pedal..it has both.

Moped is a license status in the US. Most states have gone to a maximum displacement and hp or max speed on level ground qualifications to allow use by people who are disqualified from having any normal type of license. Liquorcycles haven't required pedals for a while now.

I bought a new Transalp and it’s no where near the nc750 the Transalp has the the Hornet engine very different and the cb500x is going to be the new NX500 kinda looks like the Transalp
Great video but can you do another one with metric measurements; as I'm overwhelmed with trying to do the computations in my head. Particularly, since the Japanese , like all other rational and enlightened countries use the non-arbitrary notion of measurement based on 1 and 10; .......imagine that!
I was going to pickup a 2024 Goldwing but that color is so fricking ugly I'm waiting until 2025.
I noticed that as well. Was thinking that about the Fury too. Why the heck they switched from yellow to ugly green makes no sense to me, but anyway...
You shoulda picked up one of the earlier models when they were offering them in nice colors...my '18 is Ardent Red, and it's very nice...

Thanks. Yes, I look over the top of the windscreen. It's flared to push the wind over my head, but it does screw up the visual, especially for my helmet camera. Hoping to get a different camera soon that I can mount on the bike and video from there.

Not in the US - at least, not yet.
The 2024 XR150L got a $200 MSRP increase, but no updates.
Actually, the CRF150R hasn't been update one bit at all since It was first introduced back in 2007 in fact most of the changes were mainly do in first few years in the carburetor area. I do not count theme changes or color as update Honda needs to get off this lazy butt and build an EFI version.
So are they still making the 22 Africa twin for the USA or trying to clear out the unsold from that year?
Not sure, wish I knew. My guess is they are still clearing out unused inventory.

There may be a Hornet 750 available in other countries, but not in the US.

@@davidleonard8369 Maybe Honda will release the Hornet in the US sometime in 2024 or for the 2025 lineup, since they delayed the Transalp release in the US by a year.
Also no naked standards like the CB1100 and the CB1300...those were sweet rides!

Just reproduce the 1974 line-up and there would be several models I would want! These are boring.
They should have made the 450RL the Rally Edition and left the 300L the un-rally model, IMHO. (In my Honda opinion)

That windscreen on the intro bike is seriously distorted.
The windshield is flared, which distorts things a little when you look through it. I'm getting a different camera that will record over top of the windshield. I just need some warm weather to get new footage. 😏

Honda needs to do a Tesla. By dropping their price which will increase their volume in sales making them the no#1 pick with solid buyers . Making Honda Millions upon millions above any thing they could have projected in sales and company growth

What has happened to Honda? This has got to be the worst model line-up I've seen from them. The only two models with half way decent looks is the Fury and the GW, and even then, the bland color combos ruin what's left of those looks. What's with the putrid green color, and everything else being all blacked out? It's no wonder motorcycling is becoming less and less popular. I love Honda as a brand, and I think most everything they build is top notch quality wise, but lately their marketing direction is going the wrong way IMO...
Not a fan of the colors this year either.
Regulations and cost are now driving product line development. Hence the movement toward a platform of twins which can be homologated to meet ever increasing strict regulatory standards while being less costly to manufacture. Gone are the days of putting creative power plants and fun things on the market as it's just too troublesome and expensive.
