Gyle, you made a really painful loss turn into a fun and entertaining memory - you work wonders. Stressful to re-watch as the strain of holding the left side drop after drop and ultimately losing track of comm is awful, but would play again. This was one of the most fun games I have played in my FAF career...
What the heck were you doing the second half of the game, especially alone out on that ridge???? Really rookie mistakes. Also where the heck was your anti nuke?

17:29 Gyle if the replay is still fresh and listed in the FAF online vault, you can search for it by Player and click on it on the left. It will display the players with their ratings and factions on the right. The nomad icon is used as a placeholder for random faction, thus telling you who picked random.

What a game!
I'm surprised so many players are having the same sound issue on FAF when it's so ridiculously easy to fix (two pro players in the same game !) So for whoever's reading : you just delete game.prefs under C:\Users\*********\AppData\Local\Gaz Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance and run FA from start menu not faf once to recreate a profile (and by extension that file) make sure that before you do your audio out is configured to stereo and not surround. obviously hotkeys enabled mods, templates and all other settings will all have to be remade.
You forgot to mention the part where you open a DOS prompt and enter the command, "Format C:\"

+Boaz van der Beek the way you phrase it makes it sound like you didn't do the right thing. If you really deleted the entire appdata folder supcom probably didn't launch at all via FAF (via steam/start menu it still woudl off course) but I'm sure you omitted the part where i said "*Before* you do that switch your sound to stereo if it's on surround" which is the important part.
Tbh I didn't do shit about it, idk what my dad did, he just followed what the people on forums said.

Fun. I only ever play against AIX, so it's interesting to see PvP strategies. AIX are tough, but you can stall them for 10 minutes with a single T1 assault bot.

Nice arty fight but team 1 failed to back their experimentals with supporting units. Experimentals are the spear point, the spam army are the shaft that twist in the wound and bleed out the economy. A lot of lost coms due to total loss of air control while failing to make up for it with ground fire as well.
I usually download fan controllers or temp managers when I'm bored. or maybe arduino freeware if I'm feeling crazy...
Actually Gyle, thats a pretty poor sales pitch for SupCom. Its is FAR MORE awesome then the day it came out and its all thanks to the continuous hard work of the awesome community and devs

Yes, that was exactly my impression, too: At 1:08:34 Zocks last Duke goes down. At 1:8:43 you see its last shell flying in the middle of the map. At 1:8:51 Gyle speaks about the "remaining T3 Arty", not knowing and never noticing that the last shell flying will kill it in a moment and at 1:08:56 you see the T3 Pgen next to the arty explode together with the arty in the bottom right corner of the screen. This series of events was probably the most impressive thing in the whole game. To Gyle: Great cast! Thank you very much!

Hey Gyle! Have you ever done a cast on Winter Duel? That was always one of my favorite maps.
But it is UEF dog, vastly superior to cybran dogs.

Farmsletje annoyed the hell out of me. I mean he was right on the money about the bad targetting by the Salvation as well as the lack of shielding but he also seems to be a back-seat commander which is annoying as hell. When you're dead help your team mates, don't tell them what to do though.

Meh. Should have changed the Salvation target from Zock's Dukes to Tokyto's Anything, and would have shortened the game. Tokyto had all the map control, and the production. But still an awesome match.

I think the salvation was their... Well, salvation. The three fatboys just didn't quite make it. I think perhaps a 4th fatboy at about the 1 hour mark and the game outcome might of been different.
