Honestly Grisha, you did amazing. I think you're just figuring things out and that's totally a good thing. One can say that you're being brought all these top guys to fight with because you're a top player yourself and need this for experience before you do your best. Might be a bit unlucky with the seeds but this is how tournaments are usually designed by default. Not saying its right but the lower ranked players usually have to "prove" themselves worthy of playing at these tournaments. It's kind of nice for the seeded players as their rankings has a meaning but on the flipside you do get a chance at beating them early on in the tournament, see it as, a final before the final ;)

The last point in the first set was clearly within the lines, he hooked you there And i see another hook in the beginning of the second set. Beginning 3rd game was on the line, not behind.

@@ultimpower9350 the mark on the video? You cannot see if the mark starts on the line in the video, but if you zoom in while the ball is hitting the ground you see clearly it touches the line. And at the end of the first set it was clearly in the court, not even on the line. So it's not shit talk. If it only happened in the 3rd set while the ball hits the line and also skids behind the line (as a mark is always longer than just a ball) then i wouldn't have said anything. Then it could have been a mistake. But the last ball in the first set was so clearly within the lines, then it is a hook. The opponent called it out on purpose to hook, not a mistake. He is a cheater. I'm dutch so i would prefer to be able to cheer for him, but this behaviour is just nasty.

pretty fair line calls without a ref or linesmen. It's also impressive having seen how powerful your shots are but then your opponent's FH makes your shots look like they're landing short.

Grish, I was hoping for that comeback in the 2nd set. You keep getting dealt these top seeds in the first round. Such bad luck. But keep doing this you are growing in experience points. You will soon be a master once you accumulate enough experience points by all these #1 and #2 seeds you keep playing against😂😂 You almost came back to tie it against the #1 seed. And you made him feel uncomfortable. He was hitting some insane shots. I saw that the balls you were hitting were kinda in his sweet spot zone and he was feeling comfortable to redirect the ball where he wanted to. Maybe next time try to add some shape to the ball and give him some higher balls, just so he can't dictate the points. Just remember there's no winning and losing. There's only winning and "learning." I believe in you and I really want you to succeed because you're a really talented player. And I also like your channel lol. In one stage I know things are going to click and you'll be beating these people at a certain point in your career. "if you want to get clean, you gotta get washed first." Losing isn't anything. Just learn and grow from these moments.

Tough one! In my opinion your channel show a lot of young players what the brutal reality of tennis is in the lower/beginner level tournaments, not only good for the players but for their families too, because a lot of parents don’t understand why it is so hard or so expensive. But I have to admit that I’m not sure if I like your attitude on the court, to me, throughout the video you give us a vibe that you don’t care, that you are making faces and actions just for the camera and that you are way too worried about looking cool on KZhead instead of focusing on the game itself. I have been keeping up with others that produce a similar line of content and they act a lot more professionally on court. I will keep up with you, I wish you the absolute best and if this is your true personality I hope that you keep it and that your channel do well so you can keep using as an extra way to fund your career. Take this as a constructive criticism comment 👍
Very nice match, you were too much on a defensive side through whole match but at clay court it's not that a big deal. But I have to say that sometimes you are too nonchalant at the net. I know that not an easy thing to change (I do it all the time) but a little mental switch at this point and I would go in right direction! Hope to see more footage of you game! Best of luck!

Dude, i really think you should ditch that gravity pro, you shots especially defensive one's land really short and it's even more noticeable later in the game when you get more tired. You would really benifit from sth more powerful and do not worry about control and stability as you can fix that with lead and strings.. Good come back though, almost!!!! :=)

Way to fight back in the 2nd set. Perhaps go bigger, go for winners earlier, shortening the rally length, in the 1st set to put your opponents on their heels, especially if they are ranked higher. ATTACK MODE!!! (but easy for me to say lol) Good luck in future tournaments. SWING2WIN!!!

Don’t have the full picture from this footage alone, but seems like he was attacking you too much on your second serve. Maybe you need some more pace there.
Wouldn’t say that was the main problem. Though it could definitely be improved.
So that opponent was 800+ in the world??? Wow his game is scary and yet he likely isn’t even making a living off the sport. What I do is when an opponent is way too strong at the baseline I try and volley and drop shots tons more since you likely won’t be hitting it past them. You should really absolutely master the drop shot like Carlos Alveraz. And then master the volley like Stephan Ed burg or Dustin Brown. Do that for a while. Then next time you run into these heavy baseliners they’ll be put in their place. You did some good serve and volleying. At my level like 3-4 I can do that all day long and get point after point. But not sure if that works at your level. I’d say why not try like 1 in 3 serves as a serve and volley.

The main mistake: you play for the camera... 'pour la galerie'. Competitive playing is more about effectiveness more than shot making. Ex: pass the ball to the other side of the net anyway possible, rather than nicely. You-You can do that also... no shame on winning that way.
its rigged. they never let topseeds play eachother first round. and never let the non seeds play eachother either in first round thus making the way for the topseeds in the early rounds so they do not get tired. you are basically practise. In a turnament it should be that everybody meets everybody like the football/soccer turnaments. and then who won most matches gets the throphy.
