  • Entertaining clips, but would be better without the annoyingly dubbed music.

  • 7:04 This seems more like masterful control of a boat then bad if you look at the speed/proximity plus overall lack of any incident. Feels more like the driver going for max effect for the passengers - and them getting exactly that 😂 Earnestly reminds me of a helicopter ride I was once once - from the desert to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Tiny helicopter flown by one of the best pilots out there and he clearly wanted to make us *scream*. Some of the wildest, most heart-dropping flying I’ve ever had the privilege to experience. The pilot did similar trips multiple times a day and was so casual despite the masterful and death defying maneuvers he pulled. He had a low-key grin on his face the whole time but never said a word 😂

  • I grew up on boats...sabot sailers age 6 to, ultimately deck handing (just me and my skipper) on a 38' Troller on the north shore of Haida Gwai, in very very rough seas. To this day, at age 73 - and very fit and strong due to daily work on, arguably the most beautiful piece of property in the Comox Valley, I can skipper most boats under 80-100 feet, with the right team. I have no expectation of doing so as I am now a retired physician, and my idea of heaven is working, with my wife on a acre of view property in the Comox Valley...And I have NEVER understood the complete lack of appropriate safety standards that seems to be the boating norms of today - at least with this sort of crew/age group...this is, truly, a disaster waiting to happen...

    • @@JohnSmith-pl2bk Nope...just waiting for the announcement of a boating loss...but hoping I never see it - and in the meantime writing and recording rock/jazz/country music, and taking care of the most beautiful piece of property (.8 acres) in the Comox Valley with my wife, a retired Olympic athlete, and the woman I fell in love with over 35 years ago...and wishing well for the rest of the world. 😛♥️😎

  • That second video, that kid of mine would NEVER operate a motorized vehicle again till he bought his own after seeing the throttle play before dunking the front bow of the boat.

  • Remember 1984 in Hongkong . We were on a boat . One of the guest stood at side. He had a dog .. normally totally relaxed . But suddenly he jumped , and the last I saw of the dog owner was his feed as he went over . He appeared and swore at the dog 😂😂

  • As a sailor, I have seen some mindbogglingly stupid behaviours on the water. I once saw a jet skier almost get run over by the Staten Island Ferry-he was wake jumping in front of it and fell off. Another time a friend and I were waiting to haul out at the Carrot Island marina in Beaufort NC. It was dead low tide and this massive pickup truck had backed a trailer down the ramp. The trailer was less than 3 inches below the surface. It belonged to one of those %^^$#&*(*&%$!! cigarette boats. The owner lined up his CB with the trailer, gunned his engine . . . and ran hard aground seven or eight feet from the trailer. The fool then sat there gunning the engine with mud-not just muddy water, but actual mud-coming out of his exhaust for five minutes. When it became clear the boat wasn't moving, he backed off and made another run at higher speed. This time he got maybe a foot closer to the trailer and spent another 6-8 minutes cycling mud through his exhaust system. He finally gave up and disappeared down the channel at about 30 knots, leaving all the '5 knots No Wake Zone' bouys doing the fandango behind him. I really hope he had a massive repair bill . . .

    • Indeed it boggles the mind...a terrible combination of stupidity, arrogance...and a bunch of derogatory words I can't be bothered to recall. Ultimately, I think my most descriptive response - and the simplest to convey is 🤪... I suspect we have similar water-born (or something similar) experiences and...automatic responses- something like a FFS combined with a sigh 😭😭 In my (our) household both my wife and myself have had pretty substantial and similar upbringings where caution, experience, education, and common sense have been essential to survival...and to see this type of boating idiocy, unchecked and dangerous, leaves us frustrated, angry, and worried. We need something like our mechanics of traffic safety, beefed up and applied to boating. Give that one a thought...then think how inexpensive good second hand over-powered boats would become...4x250 hp motors on a 25-30 boat!? You've got to be kidding...
