Ryan is right: Rob is such a good host, he honestly does it better than many other late night hosts. He honestly should do this full time.
He would be an amazing host but the good late-night hosts always get screwed by the networks, Rob doesn't deserve that fate.
I agree, that dance was the most beautiful and moving moments in TV history. Right up there with when Charlie was crying over his dad's body in the rain.
Oh yeah. There is a reason why the show has been on so long. It is so funny, so heartfelt, and carries such humanity.. all while featuring 5 totally screwed up people. That is truly masterful.
When Charlie says "I needed you" in that scene, I had an emotional breakdown. One of the most profound moments from a TV show for me.

She liked the town and the Uni. She was swayed by the course in Chester in the end. I suppose if you live somewhere, you don't appreciate it for what it is. I live on Anglesey and always wonder why the hell people come here for holidays.

Living in North Wales, albeit one of the bits furthest away from England, Wrexham is my closest professional football club. In the 70s and 80s they were in the second tier of the English league. Remember going to a game around 1978 against Sunderland, a big club that's also fallen on hard times, with a cousin who went on to be in charge of Welsh football (he was in charge during Wales' Euro 2016 qualifying campaign) and he introduced me to several players, including the great Dai Davies. It was a sad day when they dropped out of the football league for the first time in its history and into what's known as non-league football. Last season was, I think, the closest they've come so far in something like 10 years, to making it back into the football league. Much of that is down to these two guys.
dam, it sucks whenever you see a club with a rich history get relegated. As an American Galaxy/Arsenal fan and grew up watching football, I completely understand the passion/pain that comes with the beautiful sport. Since Rob and Ryan purchased the club, I've instantly become a Wrexham fan and can't wait until they get promoted to the premier league. Let's go Dragons!!!

@@hankdatank09 Yeah, they're the third oldest club in the world with a stadium that's still occasionally used for international games, making it the oldest international stadium. I remember going to the Racecourse when it was THE national stadium for football with my school. It was a game between Wales and Bulgaria. It was a Euro qualifier where we won 1-0. Found it online: 27 April 1983. I was 13. The story behind what the guys have done and the fact that they chose Wrexham over every other team in the world is pretty amazing. When I was growing up, teams in the fifth tier, where Wrexham are now, that won that league had to be elected by the members of the football league to gain promotion into it, so it was quite rare for teams in the football league to be relegated into the fifth tier. Now, it's just treated as any other promotion/relegation in the English football pyramid, so you now have plenty of old clubs that spent their entire history in the football league until they were recently relegated into the National League in the past few years. So they could have picked any of those clubs to resurrect.

I know you guys said on some podcast (not yours) that you don't like having a ton of celebrities on as guests because they can take away the spotlight from the main characters weirdness and psychosomatic problems. Ryan is a giant as you just saw, it would be interesting to see him try to blend into a role on the show. Writing however, I think he could write a KILLER episode.
