I’m hair stylist too. This is classic technic. I used it a lots on my clients. I like the way how U do. No music disturbing, no personal information, just straight to the hair. I love it and the hair is blending, excellent job !!!
aww thank you 💗💗
there is music
I've been watching so many KZhead videos on placement and this is definitely the best video I have watched! You explained everything so well Thank You so much♡
yayy!!! that makes me so happy💗 so glad it was helpful!
You hav the best vlogs and great foiling the results show your skills
Thank you for freely sharing your knowledge and techniques - as a newer professional (graduated 12/2020 and missed out on a lot of hands on due to Covid - classes were switched to zoom 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️) I have been relying on lots of tutorials to get my techniques up to par... I am forever grateful!!!!!! 💕💕💕
How come the hair did not fall out and I did not notice the use of Dugase dye
yay! I love that💗
Thank you! I've watched many tutorials & have done lots of placements on different people. I did your placement & section today and it turned out perfect! She even gave me a huge hug & said it's her favorite highlights she's ever had. Thank you so much!
that makes me so happy🥰🥰 this is my go-to for super blonde yet natural results! so glad your client loved it!!💗
Beautiful blend, great dimension & I love the simple partings. Thanks for sharing 😊
I like the way you explained everything! Blessings.
This was the best foiling technique i have seen. Thank you so much.
i like how you dont tease the hair alot of stylists do so they dont get a line of demarcation but you didnt have any lines it looked great
I really enjoyed your video. You are very explicit. I learned a lot from you. Not everyone shared everything they do!
I’m so glad KZhead recommended this video! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
The occipital bone Is half way down from where you parted the hair. It’s that little curve around ear level.By the time your done yore 15 vol bleach mix, the 30 vol bleach mix has lost its power and has died down, I suggest you mix as you go along. If you mix your bleach every 20 min, you’ll get max lift and fresh powerful bleach that’s much more efficient . Continue educating hairdressers you’re doing a great job!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL
Iiii looooooooveeeeee your videos, everything about it is great, the way you teach, your voice, your way to speak, and the asmr you do. I love you girl!
thank you, this means so much 🥰🥰
I just came across your channel. So glad I did! I love your video. I’m in school now and these are so helpful. You are definitely goals 😊

Excellent tutorial!❤
Looks so good
I absolutely love your attention to detail. Wonderful tutorial. I have stopped hairdressing due to health but I had my hair done 2 days ago, hadn't had a colour done in 1 year due to having my baby, reason for being so excited too and I cried various times throughout the day and the next because it turned out terrible that being the foils and cut. I really thought I was losing my common knowledge due to many years of zero practice and having to tell my hairdresser what to do made me feel so uncomfortable and of course never listened to me anyway and tried to back herself up. But her foils were so messy, she never used a comb to section and the sections were very random. Then when it came to putting the foil on and closing them she did so by patting the middle part down roughly with her thumbs and closed the package on both sides with her hands. They were the most messy wrinkly foils I'd ever seen. No heat was applied after for uniform colour development. Fortunately she did wash the back and waited another 10 for the front but weren't enough time at all especially with no heat applied. I'm a natural ash blonde. It had taken her an hr to complete a half head of foils not to mention the pain due to over tension on every section. Only 3 foils applied to sides also... Then the toner was applied (which she weren't gonna put on but I insisted and was double the price initially quoted) to towel 'patted' hair (barely taken wetness out of hair) and left on for 8mins only that including application time. Then washed very quickly with no attention given and then a standard blow-dry was extremely painful and scolding. The layer cut was roughly done dry in order to remove length first but was not corrected when colour was completed and wet to make sure all sections were done correctly. Been as I am a hairdresser myself I knew the sections were roughly chopped and not cut into to make it soft. I insisted in having it cut wet but she was sure it was fine and refused 3 times. I couldn't wait to get out of there 😔. So disappointing and complex hitting when you were looking for a lift after waiting so long to do my hair after a trumatic birth and long recovery. Just so sad. I came on here to see how it was supposed to be done even though I do know as I've been to other hairdressers and been taught in college and within a salon myself so I really appreciated your tutorial thanks! X
You really saved my life I get my first clients tomorrow and I could cry I’m so grateful for what a great teacher u are u dumbed it down for me to understand and make sure I don’t make a mistake Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou

Absolutely Beautiful
I love the hint of tint in your hair!
thank you🌟
Me too! So flattering on her
This demonstration is great. I watched it more to observe posture because as stylists we have to be mindful of our standing position not to strain our bodies and yours is great!!
thank you!!!
It would be so awesome to shadow you. I like the way you explain what you’re doing and why. Thank you! I have foil work on Wednesday and I wanted to get an idea of what else others are doing aside from what I’m learning in school right now. Thank you!
Wow! Just found your channel and I love it! Professional hairdresser here 👋🏼 great job!

Laura Selig I am totally guilty of overthinking as well! it’s a lot of pressure, but I do my best when I go where the hair takes me😊
ur translation was embarassed me

Absolutely phenomenal 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 what a beautiful stylist. Amazing.
thank you 🌟🌟
Wow really nice job!
I really like your video. I am returning to cosmetology after a long time. I was in the Navy when my license expired. I am scheduled for my state board practical April 20, 2023. Woo-hoo. Back in my day we used those awful caps with a tiny crochet hook. I originally graduated beauty school in 1989. It's been a while. It's good to see how techniques have changed. Amazingly many of the tasks stayed the same. You should consider being an instructor. You have a talent to not only hold interest in your video, but you gave clearcand easy to follow directions. And on top of all of that your client's hair is beautiful.
that’s amazing you’re getting your license again 💗 my goal is to teach more, I am launching online courses in a few days on my site wholyhair.com if you’re interested! In person classes will be coming soon as well ☺️
Wow I love this video and how thorough you were. Thank you!
Excellent episode
Another amazing stylist on KZhead like your self is hair by Kristi Jennings sooo good!!
Nice. Enjoyed it
Thank you for this in depth video! You did a great job explaining everything clearly! Will be trying this out soon💛
gabriela castro thank you!! let me know how it turns out💗💗
Just wanted to share ... I used this placement today when I did a blue fashion colour on the ends of a girls hair. The whole process was made effortless with this layout and sectioning so thanks gf!!!
that’s amazing, and so good to hear! this is my go to sectioning 💗 been doing it for years and it’s always a winner ✨
Great work 👍🏻
Thank you for this video! ♥️♥️👍
Great work 😎
I agreed this is the most accurate video ever
Loved the video! I have a question so what does a Mohawk section do when you use it in foiling?
Thank you so much!! Starting cosmetology school in a month and have been cramming info to be as ready as possible using your videos! You are so talented!
yay! that’s so exciting, you’re going to be well prepared! cos school can be overwhelming & feel annoying at times but stick with it, I promise it’s worth it!💗
You can also watch hair by Kristi Jennings. She does like really long foiling videos and shows some AMZING techniques. I’ve learned sooo many new things from her. She should be required education in cosmo school. She takes care of the very fine details like the tiny baby hairs around the hair line etc because clients notice black holes like that she’s great and also shows how she styles after which are these amazing curls that show the depth and dimensions in the hair. Amazing work! Love shouting out other stylists. This stylist also does good work!
Definitely take your advise and apply it on my next client . Gracias.
yay!! let me know how it turns out 😊
Excellent ,thank you for you great job
Another great tutorial!
thank you💗💗
Thank you for the tips 😊
Thank you this helped me so much with sectioning and application. Any tips on how to achieve neat parting with a comb or clip
This was so helpful, thank you!
Oh and what foils do you use?
@@horsie4jordie I use the reynolds foil and tear them in half! I like them cause they aren’t too thick and easy to work with
Amazing 😍
Very nice hair color
Awesome!! Thanks!!!!
Thank you so much! I felt embarrassed searching for techniques, but now I don’t. Lol! I have problems with bleeders and I think i folded the foils 2x instead of 1x. Also the board was genius!!!
it also depends on the clients hair type and how heavy the foils are, and their hair! Bleeds can happen to anyone, it still happens to me every once in a while! You'll learn little tricks to avoid them as you keep practicing!
The first hairstylist video I've ever watched in my life. Thanks Tenet, Thanks Christopher Nolan!
yay! hope you watch more!!
love it. I have a question, what's the best thing to do if a client has white hair on hairlines and I'm doing highlights with bleach? Should I do the base color first then do highlights with bleach? I've done lowlights, highlights at the same time but it didn't cover the white hair.
💛💛💛 love this video. Was wondering how long did you leave the foils on before you rinsed it out?
Very good. Thank you for sahring.
Beautiful
Very good video. Thank you 😊
Omg fab x
A absolutely beautiful
Amazing 👏
One tip I would interject with for people just learning, and watching this video for guidance: the SECOND you mix your bleach with the developer the timer starts. So if you are using two bowls, there is no reason to mix the second bowl until you get there. ( so maybe have the unmixed, pre-measured developer and bleach of choice *ready* to mix, but on standby.) That is just my tip for newbies who are typically going to be struggling with the timing (because whether it’s on hair or not, bleach stops processing after a very specific time once activated)
yes, this is true! I foil really quickly so I find it easier to mix ahead💗
Great job on the client! I am astonished by your hair, wondering what you've used for that amazing pinkish tone colour ❤ its beautiful
I have a few videos on my channel of how I color my hair!
Rinsing with water then shampoo is very important because the residues of bleach eat (oxidize) the color molecules by time
I loved your work thank Iwll like to know what color you use in your hair please
For this upper sections which formula did you use....very nice tutorial...💖💖💖
I love you so much the video 😍😍😍👍👍👍
This is so helpful 🫶🏼 Quick question On the 15 developer and 30 would you still use same levels on virgin hair? I would appreciate the response 💖☺️
Great tutor
Where are you? I need a hair stylist who knows how to do this! I have had nothing but failure with stylists, they have no clue what they are doing yet I see all of you on you tube who are so talented and I cry because I want you to do my hair!
New hairstylist here! Just tried this technique on one of my clients today and almost cried! It was so perfect! Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Neena Cassidy that’s AMAZING!! I love that you found it useful 💗💗💗 this comment made my day!
I’m not a stylist but I am an aspiring stylist I just need to find the right school. I feel like I’m pretty good at doing hair and I have a lot of experience in it from experimenting on my own head and whoever else lets me lol but I’m doing my best friends hair today and this video is my knowledge for the day:) the sectioning looks very easy and this tutorial makes perfect sense so I feel like I’ll do good.
yay! love that 💗 keep it up girl!

Audrey’s Beauty Gadgets yay! I love using my stool, some of my clients giggle but I ensure them that their hair will turn out better!
Hey thanks so much! Great work :)
thank you!
Thank you so much.
Cool video! What board are you using? What brand is this?
awsome video! just wondering if you used all equal parts for the toner shades, or if you use less GI than the other 2 shades.
This was so help full tnx u
What size foil/brand did you use in video? And can you do a video showing how you get the foil so close and neat to lay in a separate video. Thank you
Thank you so much!
