Who does not want to dance the traditional Lebanese dabkeh when he hears the song Al Hawara? It is one of the most famous and most spontaneous writings that every authentic Lebanese voice repeats. Al-Hawara Al-Hawara varied in its words and meanings from one person to another and from one Lebanese village to another, such as “Al-Ataba”, “Al-Mijana”, “Al-Rozana”, “Abu Al-Zulf”, “Al-Dalona”, “Jamlo” and “Sabaa”.
We cannot talk about Al Hawara, which is a song from our heritage and folklore, without mentioning the King of Al Houwara: Alain Mereb. He is a Lebanese folk artist that we are proud of. He is famous for presenting the singing of Al-Hawara, Al-Ataba, Al-Huydlik and Al-Dalouna.
We wanted to honor the Lebanese heritage because Al-Houwara is a form of pure Lebanese music that is borrowed from zajal and is restricted to Lebanon. It was also sung by famous names such as Mrs. Sabah (Al-Sabouha), the artist Assi El-Hellani, and others.
