I got a longline recently and had my gf help me put it on, but she hated doing it. I'm so glad there is a tutorial to help me figure out how to do it myself! looking forward to wearing it more!
I struggled to the point I had to ask mommy for help😥 my arms hurt just trying to straighten the modesty panel along with everything else. And the busk was hell. Even though I loosen to the maximum it was still a struggle to get on as the last pin was hard to notch.

I just got my 411 Corset the other day and I am so happy with it! What helps me with lacing my corset is I bring the pull loops in front of me, hold them with one hand, while pulling the "X"s with my other hand. That way, I'm able to see the "X'"s a little better and the pull loops don't get in the way, and when it's time to close the corset, I bring the pull loops to the back, then pull to close....so much easier, at least for me.

Love your videos. Sadly I can't buy via Orchard Corset *right now* because I am in the EU. I really get a sense of a service oriented company with quality products for a good price. And such a wide range of choice too! Since I am a reviewer (for now books etc in spiritual corner, but adding a retro fashion review page soon since it fits my style and passion) I already look differently at companies and products and you score high on that already. So, sad I can't try out any of your corsets for now; the duty, taxes and handling I would have to pay on top of the product will ensure the fact I can't afford the one I want. But well, that is what saving is for. At least, I hope so ;-). I've just started with an underbust brocade corset, a fan lacing one since it was recommended due to *possible* issues with dexterity and strength stemming from muscle rheumatism when I would have to lace myself in. But I'd love to try a regular short torso corset one day (satin, or lace, or velvet: swoon!) I do wonder though: why aren't there any tutorials for those type of corsets, the fan lacing corset? You don't sell them? Or are they simply very rare?

Yes we sell the yellow/gold laces. The green ones come in a kelly green and also lime green.

Hi, I am 5'2 tall, and as thinking of getting the CS 411 Double steel Boned underbust corset. My measurements (inches) are: Under bust: 36 Waist: 35 Upper hip: 37 torso length: 10 What size corset should i get?
Hi Amanda, I think the CS-305 in a size 30 will be your best fit. If you want to give the 411 a try-you will need to be squishy enough to size down to a 28 and the bottom will still probably close up all the way. The 201 might work better than the 411 for you.
Does this work with a corset that also goes over the bust?
Yes! However lacing yourself into an overbust takes more effort than an underbust style. It's possible to lace yourself into an overbust, but it might be a bit daunting if you've never laced a corset before. Until you get the hang of it, you might want to ask a friend to help you lace the overbust :)
My corset laces are a least two feet long on each side even with corset extended as far as I can get it without sliding off. I think my corset may be too big, can I cut the laces?

Is it better if the laces are satin?
Not necessarily! Some folks prefer satin over the shoelace style nylon laces. But either will work well. We do find that the satin laces hide better under clothing than the nylon though. Reach out to our team if you have more questions!

The bottom of the corset looks like short... it doesnt hug the flesh from the hips.... since im going to be wearing it alot dont u think over time its going . To leave the flesh lower than what it was ? I have squishy skin thats why im asking... and also i have small breast im gonna look like a box in that lol maybe the 426? It looks like it snuggs the bottom fat from the sides too i saw a video from danielle?? She says she works with orchard corset and i might have measured the torso wrong haha its pretty long and my hips measure 36.5 do u think it would do it for the 426?
Liliana Torres If your high hip is only 33.5-the 426 and the 511 will be too big at the hip. With a 36" high hip, you should be alright in a size 24 for both the 426 and the 511. It will still close up completely at the bottom edge as both of those corsets have a very large hip spring.
I really really want to start training. I'm only 5' and my torso is pretty short. I don't know where to buy a good corset, especially for cheap- I don't really have the money to go above 75$. Any advice?

We recommend keeping them long and tucking them under your corset, but it is entirely up to you.
Do you have to wear it under your clothes or over your clothes??
Either, Bonnie! You have to choose your wardrobe carefully to wear under your clothes :) Nothing too thin and clingy.

About a 1" reduction :) Cheri doen't love extreme tightlacing and this corset is new and not broken in.
Orchard Corset Thank you! Hard to tell especially with that shirt. Which I kept thinking, why are you wearing a loose shirt under your corset? Apologies for the misspelling of her name, I'd only heard it. I just got a new corset that I'm breaking in, & I am already a tightlacer but one of my broken in corsets was destroyed in a flood, the other is in repairs. The tighter I lace the more, much needed back support I get & I also greatly prefer the look. How quickly can I break it in? My others were gradually broken in by luck. I can reduce by 4-6". I have worn new corsets with 2" reduction from the start for several hours each time, & they seem to be fine, am I just lucky again? Thanks for the lacing vid too as the new corset came laced too high on the corset for my natural waist. When I'm next in the US I will definitely look you up. (If not sooner, I am annoyed by these China-made corsets I keep getting over here in Europe.)

There isn't one style for clothing, so we try to mix it up :) This page will show you how to season your corset properly, it should take about 2 weeks time. What's the purpose of modesty panel?
To hide the gap between the lacing panels, to protect the wearer's clothes from the laces, for comfort... for looks. Many people don't like them though and snip them out :)
@@orchardcorset thank you so much. I bought myself a camellia 26 steel boned short torso corset and I want to get rid of the panel. However, the panel is not sewn. It is separate from the corset, but hanging in place by the laces. No way to take it off. How do I get rid of it? :(
@@sanjidaalam6747 If it's just laces looped through grommets that are holding it on, you would just unlace your corset and remove the panel and relace it.
