@@mikealalee2889 Tiktok was in the news roughly a year ago because apparently they were selectively promoting content from people who they deemed photogenic I just want to know what I'm missing out on from the "ugly" {Tiktok's opinion, not mine} side of the platform, there's gotta be a bunch of super quality stuff under the sea of people with straight teeth and piercing eyes and mannequin physiques (not that some of those people don't produce quality stuff too)

Alot of it has to do with what people are picking though. My tik tok doesnt have a bunch of boushey shit on it. Iv got all the freaks and weirdos on mine because that's what I interact with. If your persistent enough in ignoring their attacks they just give up and let you be with your kind. Lol Not to say I dont understand or support everything you said though. Because again only half of it is free will and the other half is for sure just technology and algorithm. But it all starts with us as a person. We turn on the phone, we log into sites we know have dangerous or derogatory content. We make the agreement to the risk. If you want to see the ugly side, just look for it. That's enough to tell the algorithm that your not easy to control, because you dont just sit and take whatever your given. You'll dig for what you want.
