My wife recovering from cancer and I danced to this song tonight. When I first heard this version I knew I had to play it for her. We could not finish the dance because she begin to cry she was so happy she is strong enough to dance again. We mostly listen to old school rob and gospel music but this version reminds me of the old school RB. Also I thank the Lord for healing my wife the cancer tumor is shrinking the chemo is working

I’m reality many critiques actually enjoy Anderson’s music more, his projects like Oxnard are so different to the music he’s making here and this is the result of him being so unbelievably versatile. The transformation from 80’s synth-pop to fuller warm tones of 70’s phillysoul is amazing. Bruno’s vocals sound grittier to compliment Andy’s. The drums and the base are in the pocket and feel oh so good ❤️🔥🎶❤️🔥

@@cms-pacnw3315 he's also a smoker so his voice has definetly gotten more grittier. The smokings helped him out though, his voice is alot stronger and has more smoke to it. It seems like he can hit higher notes easier.

Right?! The original was released in 1982 so it had that synth sound. I love what Silk Sonic did adding that 70s sound to the song. I even love the fact that I hear a string section (Something I lot of 70s songs have)
