Terrifying moment bridge suddenly cracks and plunges into river in 'biblical' Brazil floods
A bridge collapsed due to flood and heavy rain in Rio Grande Do Sul, Brazil in new shocking footage.
The bridge on RSC 287, located between the Santa Maria Air Base and the access junction for Silveira Martins at kilometre 227 on the Arroio Grande River.
Emergency services are responding to the scene, and authorities urge motorists to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
The death toll is expected to rise as hundreds of people are missing in Rio Grande do Sul while the state suffers "its biggest disaster".

The same thing was said about the flooding in New Orleans but when the damage was looked at the so called sinful areas, strip joints, jazz, drug use, prostitute areas were largely spared and the middle class family neighborhoods were hit hard.
