Today we’re going to talk about the relationship between fasting during Ramadan, and it’s immune effects.
Ramadan lasts between 29 and 30 days. During Ramadan, you’re required to not eat or drink anything from just before sunrise to just after sunset. This is a dry fast, which means you’re not drinking any water.
What you eat before and after you fast is going to make or break your success. Having junk food or refined carbohydrates before and after your fast could inhibit some of the effects you could achieve from fasting. However, low-carb, keto-friendly foods may be much more beneficial to have during your meals. Ketones are even anti-microbial.
Benefits of fasting:
• Decreased cytokines
• Increased macrophages
• Increase the microbiome
• Increased resistance to stress
• Decrease in oxidative stress
• Increased autophagy and xenophagy

It helps to be grateful to the lord and brings a change in our attitude of seeing others. We value all that we have and feel contented and satisfied. We stop envying others, hating others. Charity becomes habit. Empathy , sensitivity towards others becomes our habits.

I don't think Dr. Berg is the type of person who uses his influence in a certain way to attract people to use his products, which in this case is "His" keto diet as you said.

So eat all the best things Allah gives you and if you know that keto is best, then eat keto and you will actually be making your God happy by doing what is best for yourself.

    • @Eraf Mohammodiy The Church has always taught that Jesus is God. The claim that the belief in Jesus’s divinity is an invention is a myth. You can read the letters of the early church fathers if you’d like. Two of the early church fathers, St. Ignatius and St. Polycarp mentioned in their letters that Jesus is God. They were bishops from the first century and it’s very possible that they knew John the Apostle, the one who’s mentioned in the book of Revelation. If Christianity is corrupted, then Jesus is a liar because He said “the gates of hell shall not prevail against my church” (Matthew 16:18-19).

    • As the full moon rises in the night sky, many people across the world observe it with awe and wonder. For centuries, people have been fascinated by the power and energy of the full moon, and some even believe that fasting during this time can have spiritual and physical benefits. Fasting during the full moon has been practiced by different cultures for centuries, with some viewing it as a way to cleanse the body and mind. It is said that the gravitational pull of the full moon has a significant impact on the tides of the oceans, and also on the fluids within the human body, including blood and lymphatic fluid. Fasting during the full moon is believed to help the body to eliminate toxins and unwanted substances more effectively. In some traditions, fasting during the full moon is done for three days, and this is believed to be the ideal duration for the practice. During this time, it is recommended to consume only water and herbal teas, and to avoid solid food. Some people may also choose to meditate or spend time in quiet contemplation during this time, to further enhance the benefits of the fast. Mountains are often considered to be places of spiritual significance, and fasting during the full moon while in the mountains can be particularly powerful. The natural beauty of the mountain landscape, combined with the energy of the full moon, can create a profound sense of connection to the universe and to one's own inner self. While fasting during the full moon is not for everyone, those who choose to embark on this practice may find that it offers a sense of renewal and rejuvenation. Whether done in the mountains or elsewhere, fasting during the full moon can be a way to honor the natural cycles of the universe and to deepen one's connection to the world around us.

  • We Muslims not fasting from food and water only, we also fasting from bad habits like smoking, backbiting, talking shit, abusing others, fighting, annoying others, talking bad words .... etc we are prohibited during Ramadan doing any bad habits that cause harm for your body or to others .... we do that for the sake of Allah and obey him to grant us the eternal life in paradise . Ramadan is a month of self discipline physically and spiritually .
