I think what speaks volumes about Shylas video is she’s going up against millions of “ace family supporters” who will support Landon by default and she still managed to convince a huge portion of us that she is the one we should be supporting. She came with the facts and receipts and was genuine. Most of us can relate to dealing with a narcissist so her story resonates. I am so proud of her and can’t wait to see what’s to come for her!
Landons Receipts are undeniable tho.

Veronika Keller & not to mention why was she at her worst? Why wouldn’t anyone be upset like that after being treated like this. I would react the same way if not worse. I feel like she handled the situation so well! Compared to what she could have & honestly even then wouldn’t blame her for it! People will always make a sane person look insane, just so the feel better about themselves for being the nasty ones.
Just saying there’s always 3 sides to a story. Discrediting Landon based on the hate his family receives isn’t right….. Don’t forget that same family Created L&S there for Shyla.
The fact that Landon pulled the 'if I'm bad then why didn't she leave earlier' makes so much more sense bcs he was the one who put her down sooooo badly, but I'm so glad she took matters in her own hands, the restraining order also speaks volumes

Which technically all he did was try to counteract all she was saying... He added nothing new to what she said which showed me she was telling the truth

The mcbrooms are awful people and sadly i think they rubbed off on shyla. She was willing to still go through with the fake engagement with her “abuser” in order to fulfill the contract with the ring. This highly discredits her story because why would she put up on act to her audience and fake being married to him if he really did all those awful things. I think she’s just as fake as them
@@ashleysaavedra8445 if you’ve ever been manipulated I think you’d feel differently. She was clearly apart of their shady lifestyle for a while there, but she seems to be trying to do better. I’m not seeing any of that from the McBroom family, especially the father of her child. He’s trash. I do get what you’re saying though. Had I never been through a situation similar, on a smaller scale myself, I’d have a hard time seeing how she could be innocent. ♥️

I just think it was pretty trashy on her part to orchestrate an entire engagement and was willingly to go through with it if he was genuinely abusing her. I just see them as both bad and I hope they both change for their beautiful baby’s future

I am convinced that the Mcbrooms are all narcissist. The whole “real truth” video of Landon’s just solidified to me that he is a narcissist! I don’t know how people can buy into it and feel sorry for him. Any woman or man that has been victim to a narcissist can see it clearly!

He showed that video of Shyla freaking out during the meeting but it just made them look worse imo that guy who was recording kept laughing and his mom is so condescending to her no wonder she was upset I would be too if I was trying to talk about real sht and people would downplay my feelings and laugh at me.

@@alexandran6009 the person laughing was him! 😩 he supposedly made it seem as he didn’t know joe “his friend” left a camera there to record. In reality him and his mom both knew he was recording because they were mic’d and you can hear the mic when he’s moving the blanket he had on. That’s why they were so calm because they knew they were getting recorded and were thing to make Shyla look crazy. He said he didn’t laugh when clearly you can hear him laugh thanks to his mic. Ppl caught on to that and he turned off his comments on that video 🤦🏻♀️
Landon is obviously a LIAR...he definitely knew he was recording the meeting otherwise why did he need a mic ? I been with a man just like him my heart hurts for shyla...I believe that whole family is cold and calculated and all about money and fame.

as someone who has tried to get a restraining order i immediately knew he was bull shitting because it is damn near IMPOSSIBLE to get a retraining order,, the government really fails at protecting women against domestic violence and it is so sad. i truly wish shyla the best and hope she remains safe
As a single mother who went through almost an identical situation with my children's father as Shyla has, I believe her 1000%. I know the ends and outs of a narcissistic abuser. The manipulation truly clouds your judgement and the fact that she got out so quickly speaks volumes of the type of person she truly is. She is so strong and I feel for her and her baby. The Mcbrooms do not deserve their platform's, they are liars, scammers and truly awful people. Sadly their audience are young kids who don't know what life is truly about.
The things she said about the police saying she’s screwed because The baby is his as well.., is 1000% true and many other receipts she had Solidified to me that she’s was TRUTHFUL *
Exactly me watching Shyla’s video. I knew exactly how she felt talking thru. I couldn’t get a Protection order against me and my girls because their dad hit me infront of them (we weren’t even together) he broke my glasses and gave me a black eye and they still wouldn’t grant it but I got full custody of my girls now. He is still a narcissist and I hate it for my girls. I paid our rent, groceries and everything exactly like Shyla just not as wealthy. Lol 😆 but I’m so happy she is fought it.
Just another “me too”, I went through this too. I’ve never felt so powerless and terrified in my life. I still have a lot of trust and anxiety issues, that kind of experience will f you up. 😔 Always get a custody schedule. Always always always.

The McBrooms were NOT raised right! How is it that BOTH the brothers are alleged abusers and just over all terrible men! So sad these women have to deal with them. The Mcbroom mother especially should be ashamed she raised them!
Their mom is an enabler & their dad wants to be their friend more than be their father. Recipe for disaster!!

I’m not surprised that the Mcbrooms turned out the way they did with their toxic mother that had raised them. It makes me so mad that Landon would call Shyla crazy after tormenting her about kidnapping her child. As a mom, I definitely would look crazy trying to protect my baby, are you kidding me? Poor Shyla & Soul they deserve better and they deserve peace.

One of my BIGGEST problems with KylieSwim is that she is allowing the concerns to be swept under the rug. It has been several days and nothing. But poor Jaclyn Hill makes her first mishap as a smallllllllll brand with her lipsticks and did not handle it well, but responded. Kylie can just do quiet?!? Terrible.
It’s crazy to me because in his video he brings the Nanny for an interview & comes to find out it’s his AUNTY!!!! So obviously she only has bad things to say about Shyla but not one bad thing to say about her nephew!!!
Landon manipulating people example he said we all know she was getting cosmetic surgeries & her foot was in a boot because of her cosmetic procedures. Typical manipulation he used her surgery to fix her hernia and muscle separation after the baby to make it seem like shes addicted to plastic surgery . then made it seem like her foot surgery was cosmetic. He makes me sick .

@Mandy C and that’s her prerogative to do so… but the way he was talking about her foot surgery WAS misleading. Nobody (Shyla included) is denying her cosmetic surgeries. As you just said she was “bragging” about them. That doesn’t negate the fact that he was purposefully misleading his audience to try and discredit Shyla.

It makes me wonder what Catherine is dealing with in her marriage with Austin. You know that whole family is the same and she’s probably dealing with the same stuff, if not worse. That’s why she won’t leave regardless of all the cheating and manipulation.
her past is a bit questionable so i’m sure she’s well aware and willing to be apart of that toxicity with him
Obviously we don't know the ins and outs but they've tried to be relatable before and joked about how they still go through things and she was like "i didn't want to talk to austin for a whole week..." then smiles.... and I was like... babe that's not normal. Healthy communication and resolve is necessary for healthy relationships... I've been married and lived with partners before (i left an abusive marriage so I'm now single) and there wasn't a single day I didn't speak to my partners. I may have been in a toxic marriage but even then we still talked (argued) things out. There were times I needed space so I went to a friends or went on a drive for an hour or two maybe even three or four... but I always came back to work it out after.... You should want to communicate with your partner even when upset, even if you need space, even if you're away from home on a vacation or taking a break. You check in and should want to repair your bond... Like you just make sure your partner knows your feelings or has a chance to aid your needs... Communication is literally key. So that wasn't a normal relationship situation they mentioned when trying to be relatable... Then if you see all the raw accidental uncut footage they've posted over the years you can see that they really don't have a cute relationship like they portray. Austin is really aggressive when he thinks something won't be shown to the public. There was a video of Catherine's brother doing a christmas prank where he wraps Austin's car in wrapping paper and Austin is just so abusive about it for no reason. He overreacts and is a dick over the prank. It's pretty clear that Austin and Catherine both WANT the world to see things for different than they are. I don't know much but from what I've seen.... they don't actually even enjoy each other's company.

I remember when my mom built the courage to leave my dad he tortured my mom for MONTHSSSS I literally begged him on my knees to leave her alone! It started affecting her health in the worst way that didn’t stop him. He even threatened to take my sister from us. He ended up brain washing my little sister till this day my sister doesn’t really speak to my mom it boils my blood:( My mom ended up getting a restraining order. I believe Shyla because my mom was in that position we went through HELLLLLLLLLLL because of my father. Thank God Shyla is out of that I’m so grateful to God that she’s okay especially her babygirl! God bless her I hope one day she heals from all this trama and pain! ❤️🙏🏼
You guys should bring Shyla on the podcast! It will literally help so so many ppl out not just women but also young women & men & young men that deal with narcissistic ppl.

As a child that was raised by a grandiose narcissist, getting away from them is absolute HELLLLLLLL. Narcissistic personality disorder is something that everyone should be educated on. There is a Dr Ramani here on KZhead that does really good educational videos on narcissism.

@@kierra3825 he did have proof of her being the abusive one toward him and when it came down to it she didnt give up evidence of this and to be fair their is 2 parts of the story and he does as well as she does on explaining their stories and landon did admit to some of the things shyla said and he corrected what she said that wasnt correct and he pointed out many things she said and then said something else... he also had screenshots on her being a negative person

Age can be a red flag but to me its more of the maturity level and mindset of that person. I use to always date men who were very close to my own age and they all failed. Oh my goddd, I loved this episode so much! Thank you for using your platform to talk about this. Catherine posted a half assed “note” addressing the issue and it seemed like such an ungenuine response. It’s probably from all the hate they’ve received over it. Landon also followed up with a video as well, basically denying everything and continued to just claim her as psycho. I hope this episode brings more awareness to the situation and the entire family loses their platform. I love you guys so so much 🥺💗

I love both of your channels for different reasons so to have you both in on one channel together is pure bliss 😍 can’t wait for episode 8! -side note, The shyla situation really breaks my heart. The Gabby Petito case had really broke my heart because I was gabby petito for 7 years. Seeing that she didn’t make it out of that tore me apart. Shyla gives me so much hope, I’ve been praying for all the women in relationships and situations like this. It takes such a strong person to get out of this. @@kayleemichelle yeah and his "side" is total bs. I've dealt with men like him before and he's a toxic manipulator and user. It's pretty clear he's a dangerous man when Shyla was able to get a restraining order against him with very little effort and usually it takes quite a bit of evidence to get a restraining order so....

I looooove this episode. I've been in relationships like this and recently got out of a relationship with a narcissist. It's crazy how relatable her story is. But like you said, sharing her story was courageous and sooo brave, especially on KZhead. I feel so bad the things she went thru, especially them taking her daughter. It's sickening that he behaves that way and his mother too. Im so proud of her tho, and know she is going to do great things. Educating ourselves is a big part of owning what happened to us in relationships like this, and also helps us to avoid relationships like this in the future, or to be more aware of red flags.
