  • Got one of these a few days ago, really enjoying it so far. Only real gripe is some of the quality-of-life things that were sacrificed to get the price down (no webcam, no numpad, slightly smaller screen than I’m used to, etc) but still great gaming and everything-else-I-need-it-for rig at a great value for what it is imo ($799 on Amazon). Wish it had a 3060 or 70 instead of 3050 but it still packs power for a laptop and is great for 1080p 60+fps gaming for the vast majority of games, and it performs overall really well. Windows 11 is kinda meh but I’ll get used to it. Solid 8/10 for me.

    • I consider the lack of a webcam an advantage, not a disadvantage :). I'm getting used to the lack of a numeric keypad, and at first I thought it would be strange, but I don't need it anymore. I can't say anything bad about this laptop model. It works like crazy and has never let me down. He worked in very difficult conditions and never had a problem with temperature (he does not overheat) and this is very important in such laptops. Oh, I forgot to add, Windows 11 is not that bad :)

  • My friend recently bought this laptop,if the lap goes to sleep mode while on battery the screen won't turn on again😑😑not recommended for those who won't use this lap for gaming 😢

    • Si, I have it. I use it every day. I've never had the slightest problem with it. And I will say that it is used very heavily, both for gaming and video rendering.

    • I would say it has the hardware for all of those things, but the screen doesn’t have the best vibrance, I’d suggest plugging it up to a monitor

    • 16GB is enough to play most games. You don't need to increase to 32GB just for gaming.

    • @@TheBesciaak I got this PC few days ago, single slot 16gb ram, obviously I wanted dual channel so 32GB it is. When I play Conan Exiles and have few tabs open in chrome it uses about 12gb. We are getting to the point 16gb is just just enough.

    • I have version G15 WITH 3060 but i have low fps...on fortnite with performance mode, i have 80-140 fps... I don't know the problem but i think that Windows update is in conflict with amd driver...

    • A console is something completely different from a laptop or desktop computer. The console is only for gaming, and you can do other things on the laptop.

    • the same laptop as mine and tested gaming for more than 8 hours (cause im a gamer) no issue at all, just dont forget to change into silent mode after you are done playing. overall this laptop is only high mid range laptop. better upgrade to 32gb ram for best performance

    • Turning on vertical sync in games with fluctuating FPS and dropping frames reduces their number by half. Without V-Sync, the computer creates copies of the frames when the frame rate drops. It does this while the copied image appears on the screen. With V-sync settings, it's impossible to display two frames at once, because it relies on you to make sure that the images appear only once. The graphics card cannot smooth the copy, and V-Sync shows every other frame. A solution that ensures the smoothness of the game, on weaker hardware can work exactly the opposite.

  • Hey, I just got this last year. I have been using it for one year but a couple of days ago it suddenly died and stopped working. I took it to nearby service center and they said motherboard is dead and needs to be replaced. They are saying it will cost above 60k. That’s way above my budget. Can you please help me out here? If you have a spare motherboard for the same device can you provide me that?
