Respectfully - to the Muslims, it is haram to have a best friend of the opposite sex. Please don’t promote this to the youth. They will go around thinking that you have to be best friends with someone and then marry them. It is supposed to be marriage first and then best friends. Do not promote this and especially to the youth as it makes thinks just a little bit difficult for us. Go down the Islamic way of finding a spouse and your marriage will be filled with baraqah. InshaAllah.

- So what. Islam encourages out of culture marriage because it’s harder. What if he was part of her process to reverting? Every time she thinks about Allah he is rewarded, every letter of the Quran.
