Thanks for watching!
I beleive the lug to lug on that Marathon is about 4 astronomical units.
LOL. It's 55mm.
You have to see a Formex in person to appreciate it. It is superb! More stunning than any RO or AquaTerra. If you want a Swiss, you cannot beat Formex Essense (for dress) and Chr Ward Trident (for dive)
This is very true!
A pleasant diversion from Tudex release overkill today. That Damasko is a nice chrono
Right on time.
Thanks for sharing this ❤❤❤
Very nice! The Formex is sweet. Thanks Marc. 🙏🏼
thanks for checking it out
Oh, that Laco! Hubba! Hubba! 🐶🤩🤠
LOLOL
That Laco is to die for! I bought a Laco Aachen from Long Island Watches, and have been craving a GMT. The Hamburg is a little out of my price range, but ain't it sweet!
I love that Laco man. They are underrated.
Nice video ad always. It's so nice to see someone who offers something that you don't see so often online. Good job👍👍👍
thanks! Appreciate it.
Great video Marc! All great brands in my eyes. Marathon is one of my favorites for sure, I wear the CSAR most days at work but also have the GSAR USMC that I love too. Laco and Squale are on my list to try.
A cool selection there.
Enjoyed the video Marc, that Marathon is unreal! I bought the blue dial Damasko D96 chrono from you in February, shortly after seeing it featured in an email you sent out. I had never intended to get a German made watch but I couldn't resist how it looked. It's an awesome piece, the photos don't do it justice and the center minute counter is so much better than one on a small sub dial. I wear it every day and it's EXTREMELY accurate. I must have got one made on a good day because I haven't adjusted the time on it for weeks and right now it's running only +9 seconds. Amazing. Keep 'em coming!
That's awesome. Thanks so much for sharing.
I have the Laco hamburg GMT, its a totally underated and understated watch. Fun fact, the grey hue from the beadblasting was chosen to match the dull grey of most plane cockpits which were also made to avoid glare and more importantly to avoid drawing attention, so that the pilot can focus on the instruments and the flying. Also, the oversized crown and bezel teeth make it perfect for using it while wearing gloves.
I totally 9:54 agree with your assessment on the channel. Many other channels just review what the KZhead community thinks is cool. I am a big fan of Squale however that Laco really caught my eye.
Thanks! Appreciate the matching sentiment.
That Laco is crazy cool!
sure is.
Some nice pieces Marc!
thank you.
Thanks for another great video my friend Be well and Wheels Up 👍
Much appreciated.
I love that Laco pilot!!
super sleek
That Laco's a beaut. I may become interested.
Mark - These videos that are about what you have in stock are great. Super helpful because you have such a deep inventory. Can you do a video like this doing Islander offerings? Quartz, automatic, mechaquartz, etc.? Thank you!
Great suggestion!
Squale and Marathon are georgeous ❤
Yeah, swell lookers!
The Laco GMT is so nice
Of those I like the Laco GMT and the Marathon the best.
Thanks Marc! I am a huge Damasko fan. (Thanks to you). The new 86 is stunning and a step up from what they used to do. IMO it is superior to what Sinn is offering.
It's a shame they aren't more well known.
@@islandwatch More people should buy them, own them and appreciate them. Perhaps we should do more to promote them.
All great watches!
yes, I think so too
They all bring something unique to the table. That Damasko is a real looker!
Right, that's why I picked them :)
The laco is fantastic
Sure is.
The Formex always reminded me of the Oris Aquis, only a lot more innovative.
A wise man once said that “watches are jewelry for men…”and no one really “needs” jewelry, but they can sure be fun. Damn that Laco…. Thanks for showing these to us!
LOL. I know that guy!
I'm not usually a fan of white dials, and Zim kinda over divers, but that Firmex is a HANDSOME piece of kit! Making me reevaluate my positions on some of this stuff.
Yeah, it's a very nice looking watch, and quite legible
Great video. Someday, I'll add a Squale to my collection. I've been eyeing the ceramic line since it debuted. But $$$ doesn't grow on trees.
it sure doesn't.
I wonder why Laco would use the 904L steel if they weren't going to polish it. I thought that was part of the appeal, that it polished up better. Otherwise it's a softer alloy, which seems counterintuitive. Maybe I'm missing some property about it that would make it better?
That Formex and the green version look so nice... I went with a Rado Capt Cook as my last buy and I keep regretting not getting the Formex
Very nice. The green and gilt is cool also.
Marathon FTW 😊
Mark seems like a genuinely nice guy. I love that mesh bracelet on that Squale. I also think Mark has a sneaky good collection. A Rolex Daytona probably at the top of the list.
thank you
The only Squale I like is the bright blue dial one you and TGV have. They are great watches though
It's a keeper.
The Damasko subdials look a bit too large for the dial size giving it a cluttered look, but otherwise nicely done.
Too many choices! I do wish the Squale had a better movement, but that case is just incredible. Similarly, the Laco should have a traveler movement at that price, otherwise it's pretty perfect in all other respects. Great video.
Thank you!
Again mark, where's my shout out AT??? Frédéric from Paris France...😮
I never understand the shade that gets thrown at the 24 hour subdial, specially on an auto. Every time I pull a watch out of the box, I need to set the time and date, and doing that dumb spin around the dial to see if the hour hand is telling me day or night is a hassle. I'd make use of that 24 hour hand every single time! Way more frequently used than the small hour, IMO.
that's a good point!
Is that a bottle of hot sauce next to that clock ?
Sriracha. Marc uses it instead of oil to service his watches.
It's for the Atmos regulation.
sure is
I have 3 Formex watches all are three are -2 -3 and I have the Formex field it’s +5 a day the watches dial and face and hands are made by Formex
That Damasko is a beautiful beast, more impressive than the blingy Daytonas. Did the Laco's bezel click or was it a sliding bezel?
Click. And very nicely
Some Bulky. Some Hulky. But Nice Pieces!
Very true, thank you!
Marc, please sell those LIW hoodies!!!
I know, they are just so bulky and take up so much space.
Best value for me is Islander watch. For the price it cant be beat. I bought two the last week and the blue dial Melville I got is more accurate than my Grand Seiko SBGH295! Getting +1 to -1 sec a day on my Islander! I will no longer buy Seikos and now building my Islander collection.
The Marathon is nice but I wouldn’t be able to use it as a daily. Too big. Maybe once a week?
that's enough? :)
The problem is those brands do not hold there values. And I understand that a watch lover doesn’t buy names he buy for quality and what he likes on his wrist. Now that’s true until your spending $3,000 - $4,000 which to a wealthy person that’s peanuts but to the other 99% of the US population that’s a substantial investment. The average watch buyer wants those watch’s to hold its value within reason so it can someday be traded or sold at a decent resale.if you at least showed a Tudor or Longines mixed in
An unbelievably beautiful selection of watches ❤️🔥
Of course I like the most expensive watch the best.
Good taste!
Formex makes nice watches, but brand name sounds like a laundry detergent, unfortunately.
Some watches are divers, others are washers. This would be a great watch to wear when doing laundry- you can use the bezel to time the washing and heating cycles. And the watch will always remind you to stock up on enough laundry detergent.
@@mountainjaygenius 🎉
Truth.........hard to argue with you 😂😂😂
Detergent? "Formex" sounds like shapewear. 😬
@@JM.TheComposer LOL, Even Better!
10:14 43,5mm, not 40mm.
That Damasko is smoking hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Such a beauty 🥰
That "baby reef" is a beast! It could get a job as a bouncer at "Roadhouse"! 😂
LOL
flat sapphire is the best. i dont understand those bozos who drool over a raised domed crystals
Awe. Someones butthurt that business isn't doing well enough to afford a trip to Geneva.
Had the 7750 Marathon, got it in a trade. Sold it. Really miss it. They are an amazing tool watch.
You only miss the weight. LOL
Gorgeous watches
thanks!
