  • being born in town and none of my parent taught me how to talk in my mother tongue was one of the worst things that i see the urban parents not doing. here I am teaching myself kikuyu through music and asking random people about the meanings. now i can proudly say i have tried learning from this legend. truly music sooths the heart and teaches.

  • This song would play over and over on Inooro in 2007/2008 during the PEV crisis. Every time I would hear it, tears rolled freely down my cheeks. Kamaru was a real PROPHET. He really encouraged our people with the words of this song, promising them that in the end, everything would be alright- and it came to pass
