A45S front grill is breathtakingly invasive and sharky shaped. I saw GT 63S on my rear mirror the other day and was just mesmerised; thought I was being chased by LH44. Such a badass machine!
M Man yea its freaking beautiful. But there is one thing I hate about the a45s and thats that its not any wider than the regular a class with amg styling pack... it has like the same body with just another front and rear bumper

@@timonxDlol Just look closer in the video. The front wheel arches are wider on the a45. It has a completely different setup underneath the body work if I'm not mistaken. I quick google will yield a more informative answer than I could ever give you though

@@prickowens9341 explain how it isnt relevant. The new m135i is perfect for the everyday, and for families, the older one not so much. It's literally the perfect daily. The only people I see crying about the new 1 series hot hatch are die hard bmw fan boys...

This guy's content is 🔥 ! His wordplay and enthusiasm but also his ability to stick to the facts..sticking to the actual car or cars being reviewed is second to none ! Seems like other car content guys are 2 gimmicky almost insulting the viewers intelligence.. keep it going rory!
my 57 year old mum just bought an A35 in silver premium plus but without the aero pack and she absolutely loves it. So comfortable as well with the adjustive dampers.

Drove the previous CLA45 AMG and tust thing pulls incredibly strong plus you've got a boot for extra cargo. That little 2.0L turbo engine sure has more than enough to be fun.
That commentary on the race between both cars at the end was top class.

I am just lovin’ Rory’s reviews. I’m in the market for a new sports car but wanted to know what these new cars were all about. OK this was 3 years ago but I’ve only just seen this great video.The conclusion was inevitable, £15,000 is going to get you a faster car.I do not regret choosing the A35 as it will still keep up with a Boxter and I got 47 mpg driving steadily on the motorway.For more power I have an AMG C63 in the garage but at the moment jumping in the A35 is probably more fun.Less anxiety squeezing down narrow lanes and less anxiety looking for petrol stations and less anxiety when you go into a corner a bit too fast on a damp road.
The biggest difference. One is made by AMG, with one man one engine. The other is just some rebranded Mercedes model that used to just be an AMG Trim line.

Well youre basically right but there was no model in thst range before. There was a huge gap between a250 and a45 and they went with an a35 instead of an a350, because that sells way better

I have the A35 Edition 1 and I love every second of driving it. Even as I watch the video I'm itching to go out for a ride :) Not gonna lie through, if the 45S was available when I've pre-ordered mine, I would've gone for it. Even at the cost of cutting on some optional extras.

Ross he didn’t have a choice because the A45s wasn’t available when he ordered his. Plus if you’re a driver and not a poser, how the car looks is the last thing on your mind. The A45s shits all over the A35 and that’s clear from this video.
@Ross I'm not getting into a debate, but yes it does shit on the A35. It's clear to see from the video. It has superior balance and is dynamically a lot more sorted. The way the car shifts the power around is phenomenal.

Beef Broth I have an A35 as well and I’m not with this “remorse”. If you are not running in track days very often, I don’t see the A45s as best choice. I was wondering also about the fuel consumption... if the A35 “drinks” a lot on race mode with 306 hp, imagine how this A45 must be...

I've an A35 & don't feel that, I like it a lot. Besides, the fastest sort of cars along a B-road is a typical 5 grand Impreza not a 50k+ super hatch....
How would a A35 with a software tune compare to a A45S?

I love a carwow drag race but a track is what these cars were made for. A much better way of doing a comparison test, especially for British roads.
Mahn the A45S is just a phenomenal machine... nothing short of that literally... hatchback going sideways...has just joined a list of what was thought impossible..together with the Porsche taycan
