If anyone else likes room tour videos as much I do, you should check out this video.
Multiple screen set ups in 2 rooms, CRTs (PVM and BVM) galore with Extron Crosspoint used too.
Both modern and retro are well covered throughout the tour.
There has been a number of changes in our Games Rooms over the last 2 years so here is an up to date video to reflect that.

Truly amazing mate. Very rarely am i engaged for a whole game room tour. Those Extrons are game changers.
Thank you The Extrons are tremendous but obviously need a lot of cables ....worth it in the end though.

Your game rooms are complete goals. I love the organization and the minimalistic esthetics having everything tucked away, tidy wires, organization. We do pretty good but you make us look like amateurs. I'm loving having so many screens. We find it challenging to continue to find co-op games we haven't played yet but you've got the perfect set up to make that possible. Thanks so much for the great tour. Thoroughly enjoy it and seeing behind all the drawers and doors

Amazing setup mate. Loving the Extron switch units in the old server cabinets. Everything is ready to play at the flick of a switch. Great stuff. Retro Passion are great. He recapped my Amiga 600 and did a great job. I’ve recently fitted a Gotek drive like you’ve got in your Atari ST. Just makes it easier to play all of the games.

Such a phenomenal setup of systems and screen options, there can't be a better one anywhere Just having smaller but quality game collections for all systems is definitely the best way to go I think I get the impression you're a 360 fan🤣 Awesome rooms👍✌️

Absolutely brilliant rooms Marcus, so much I could comment but would be writing a A4 essay. Just having all the systems on the go with a touch of a button on multi screens is breath taking. The mini systems is a very nice touch with space the sounds was perfect what I could hear with the subwoofer. Both rooms and the modern room are amazing was chatting to the wife watching would be nice to have all our DVDs and videos downstairs but just no room. Amazing Marcus totally love it well thought out and plained to perfection and yes Turrican 2 music still blows my mind.

wATCHED THIS OVER A FEW GOES! GREAT INDEPTH TOUR! Lots of things to be jealous of.. but i think the main one for me is that Exterion switcher! i really think i need to get one, and figurre it out! Also the music room is something im guutted i missed out on when i visited! ill just have to come up again! ✌✌✌

Man alive that didn’t disappoint. I have to be honest I’m a little jealous of it lol. It just makes me think I need to just get cracking on my own setup. I really liked the multi screen set up in room 2. I really need to have a chat with you about how best to get all my retro not only on my PVM’s, but on my dual monitor setup on my PC desk as well as having them all set up to capture. I have an idea in my head as to how it should all work. I want to try and minimize the amount of HDMI boxes and splitters if I can. Loved the movie and music rooms foo. I know I’ve been selling my records recently, but all it’s done as well as giving me a gaming kitty is it’s made me want to rebuy some of them either on Vinyl or CD lol. Top stuff as always.

Will probably leave a few comments as I go through the video so that I don't forget. Easily the best UK game room(s) I've come across, that extron is amazing, how easily you switch between different screens per system etc. I imagine it takes some setting up, but brilliantly practical. Just amazed at the setup you have...you must have worked really hard to get it to this state 👍
My Toshiba is very similar to yours, the bottom of the screen itself looks slightly different, mine is rounded with speakers and a mini subwoofer, but I agree how great the Xbox 360 looked. I currently don't have that system set up due to lack of hd TV setup in the games room, but might be a solution to slot it in there
The wall of games, I play modern just as much if not more than retro, so I guess I'm just a gamer as opposed to retro gamer too. A lot of collectors do buy junk games, it's good to draw the line and only keep hold of the decent titles.

You are too kind with your comments. I really enjoy tinkering with technical things in the games room etc. I've always strived to have what I consider decent hardware along with a functional set up. Wow mate - there is superb and there is SUPERB!!! I think you have more Xbox 360’s set up than most people have rooms lol! The choices are immense mate - hope Tommy never has a house party as it would be a nightmare you have any jealous herbie do harm to your equipment. My favourite is the music room - put on a vinyl or cd, lay back and read a mag, with a beer - now that is heaven! Glad an Xbox 360 ain’t spawned in that room… lol! Thanks for sharing Marcus! You have worked extremely hard to produce those amazing set ups! 😊

@@DadLadsGaming Wise man - at least you can leave the house in his charge for a night or two knowing the most important rooms are safe. The other rooms have new stuff that although expensive can still be replaced - just make sure Tommy has the yellow pages number for “french polishers” lol 😂

Just finished watching this, I don't want to ask how long it took to put this together. Well done, looks clean. My favourite part was the movie room, that looks like a great place to watch some Kubrick. Hot tip: to eliminate CRT flicker when recording externally, check your phone settings and see if you have an option to record at 60FPS. That should fix it. I used to get bad flicker when I recorded my CRT at 30 hertz on my camcorder. I now record at 60 hertz, no more flicker!
The modern/movie room is a great space Cam👌 I can adjust that setting on my phone and camera.....I totally forgot tbh, schoolboy error🤦 It took a day to do the video....enjoyable actually 👍 Thanks for watching mate.

What exactly are the negative you're hinting at about the Toshiba 36zp18p? I'm looking for a CRT for a retro setup and someone local to me is selling one. So I'd like to know its pros and cons. Like why is 100Hz a bad thing?
Ultimately, I like the TV mainly for watching movies on. Light guns don't work on it if it's 100hz. It's just not as good as a 60hz set.
