This movie was really good. The plot might seem nuts from the trailer, but sitting in theatre watching it, it definitely exceeded my expectation. Ended up really loving it

Korean movies are so great, especially the action and sci fi stuff, i just wish it was global and more would know about it
their CGI come long way,few more years and they catch up with hollywood.
@@jacklarkson4505 to be honest, the CGI is kinda there already. Its way more than decent for what they have created and still very enjoyable and not super fake. Id rather a good story with above decent VFX, than a crap story and woke politics with a high VFX budget. I think ALIENOIDs VFX is above decent and really good.
I haven't found a sci-fi (near future preferred) that i like from Korean movies. German, French, and Swedish sci-fi films seem better. I'm open to suggestions however... can you suggest any to watch?

I see that the K-industry has been tapping at the sci-fi genre more than fantasy these days. For me there hasn't been a successful attempt yet but I guess it'll come if they keep trying. The cast of this movie looks great. I'd watch this alone for Kim woo bin and Kim Tae Ri
Check out Sisyphus, a story about time travel and nuclear apocalypse. Everything ties together pretty good (no lazy writing) and the villain is great. Even a lot of the stuff that seems like stupid action movie stuff comes to make sense later.

Ah. Another introspective, character driven, historical set piece. Should be interesting to see how the protagonists grow emotionally throughout the film. Lots of opportunities for the leads to show conflicted feelings as their allegiances are tested, and the foundations of what they believed about truth and morality are shaken by car chases, kung fu alien possessions, and scores of NPCs killed off every few minutes by plunging tentacles and magical flying sabers.

@@sunerinarkar2111 I'm from Canada and It was screening for a few weeks at various cities in Canada. I watched it in a theatre with English subtitles. If it doesn't have showtimes available where you are, you might have to wait until streaming available :)

I see many English names, comments! Its Truly Miraculous how One Program called Netflix introduced South Korea's Actors and Actresses to the entire World. This has Top Hollywood level style CGI effects and action. I'm American and i know this actor from A K-Drama show, so its fascinating, i would've never have known about their culture.
