  • I find it difficult to believe that a group of megalodons still exist, because of the following. The creatures they preyed upon went extinct, they were out competed by other species. Large creatures have a difficulty if prey becomes scarce

    • I support your opinion but they could still just kill and eat Orca whales

      @Yn-td5sf@Yn-td5sf10 ай бұрын
    • They came from the great white so it is possible that they can come back and stay in hiding for years upon years. Plus we never really know if all of them went extinct. Also not trying to be rude but they did not lose all there prey, that went " Extinct" bc of the great whites started to prey on them ~ NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE-MEAN!!~

Not a damn megalodon, whole difff thing hun… thats a big shark we’re talking about, and im not even trying to sound like orcas are small… but a megalodon gets exaggerated alot. These sharks can get massive. It takes some bit of research but given enough time to actually study and LOOK , youll know that 1 simple search aint gonna tell u everything. These freaking sharks were top of the chain! I mean we’re talking about a shark that literally could swallow a building WHOLE! Noooo thanks

  • Between the years of 1974 and 1976 I crossed a river twice a day over a local bridge to go to school and back home and learned the channels by looking at the river during low tides and high tides and those in between. I learned where things were suppose to be and where they weren't. One day while going home crossing the river I noticed something in the middle of the channel that shouldn't be there. Then, I realized that it was a dorsal fin of a shark. the strange thing was that it was sticking out of the water at least four feet high, and I couldn't see it's back side as the water around here is very murky. I was on a school bus and my brother just happen to be sitting behind me and I pointed it out to him, and we both just stared at it as we went by it. Nothing was faked there, nor is this a tall tale. By the way , megalodon shark teeth are commonly found in these local waters.

      @somenormaluser2407@somenormaluser2407 Жыл бұрын
    • During the Oligocene period, the Earth’s ocean started to cool down. Gradually, mid-latitude temperature saw a decrease of roughly 15 degrees Celsius or 27 degrees Fahrenheit due to it being a coastal shark that lived in mainly warmer water's it probably couldn't adapt fast enough to the cooling global climate also simply a lack of food because up until the end of the Pliocene period, there was an upwelling of water from the sea floor that added nutrients to tropic waters. This upwelling stopped when the ocean floor expanded and caused the Gulf Stream, which brought the nutrients, to slow. Without this upwelling, the amount and types of organisms that could be supported drastically decreased and the Megalodon may have starved to extinction.

Talk to Marine biologists and paleontologists they would say this video is dog shit because all the megalodon teeth we have are fossilized and no one has fresh unfozzlized teeth of megalodon show megalodon was a prehistoric shark that died out.
