I remember back when I was still in High School. A buddy who was into these bands made me a tape. Yes a CASSETTE TAPE! LOL. On side A was Twisted Sister Stay Hungry. On side B was Mötley Crüe Shout At The Devil. I played the Twisted side and I loved We're Not Gonna Take It, Stay Hungry, it was a good album. I wore side A out and then click Side B popped on. In the Beginning played. The creepy feel. The ominous vibe. Then Shout At The Devil started and WTF! I WAS HOOKED! Then Looks That Kill! From that moment on I was a Crüe fanatic! I went out and bought their First album, and Shout At The Devil as well. See I already had a "copy" but I had to have the original! Since then I've rebought those tapes, albums,💿💿CD's💿💿, and 📀📀DVD's📀📀!! Every new album, every single song, and until my family passed away I was at every concert. They were as much a part of my life as oxygen, food, water or in my case Mt.Dew and Pepsi. They were heroes, idols, rock and roll gods. Life imitates art. I got lost after the deaths of my family. My life became dark, desperate, and empty. Drugs became my new friend. I had played the game earlier. I knew what was wrong and what made me feel or again in my case NOT FEEL. I thought becoming numb was the better solution. Not feeling no pain. But what I failed to see, or realize is that without ALL FEELINGS, pain and misery included, you can never know what true happiness is. And it's NOT DRUGS! I was thrown off a forklift and was dragged into a display case. I couldn't feel my legs or arms for what seemed like hours. It was actually 10-15 minutes. I ended up with a herniated disc in my lower back with nerve compression. They didn't want to do surgery on me given my age, early 30's. So I was told to try a chiropractor, that made it far worse. Then physical therapy. During this I was told to take Percocet for pain. Later Vicodin ES. The joke was I was the Vik-king. Meaning I always had them. Soon I realized I didn't want to take them, but then I got sick. Like the flu. Even a fever, cough, chills, and then my belly. I went to my family doctor. She gave me antibiotics and cough medicine. It was a liquid Hydrocodone. I felt better. Then again it happened. And again. I was a moron but I never knew how "addicted" you could become on these. It wasn't ever mentioned. Here is where I got pissed off! While I was hurt with my back I had a orthopedic doctor, a orthopedic surgeon, my family doctor, and a specialist. All prescribed me either Percocet, Vicodin, or Vicodin ES. Usually between 40 and 80 per prescription and they always has 2 to 4 refills. Back then the doctor's could phone them in, give refills, and it was far less regulated. I learned that doctors were GIVEN GIFTS for prescribing the pharmaceutical companies drugs exclusively or at least far more than others. Now I'm not BLAMING them 100%. However AFTER they get you addicted THEN they call you out and become concerned. I took care of my Mom for 8+ years, the last 3 she was bedridden. I was working 10 hours at my job, 3rd shift, I'd come home make her breakfast, get her medications set, her breathing treatments ready, help her to the bathroom, and then get set for lunch. I'd ONLY CHANGE ONE THING, HOW I ACTED AFTER SHE DIED, AND THEN WHEN MY DAD DIED SOON AFTER. I knew that the pills would take away pain. I learned if you took more it could NUMB YOU like I said. These decisions made by me were stupid! I learned my Dad had inoperable lung cancer a couple months after my Mom passed away. I moved up by him to take care of him as well. During these years, I became best friends with both my Mom and my Dad. My Mom and I would watch scary movies, comedic movies, any movies! We'd📼rent📼📼VHS📼tapes📼, yes TAPES! LOL! Actually I'd rent them while her nurse was with her. Those were the only times I could leave. When she had someone there with her. It was hard. When my Dad died he wasn't even 100lbs anymore. I felt as if I failed! I fell into a trap or an Abyss of misery. Pills💊💊💊💊💊 were NOT the answer! FINALLY I had a surgery. This one removed my head from my ass! I stopped ALL OF THE DRUGS! From opiates to pot. Nothing anymore! Let me say to any kids who think they know better? Or know more about life than your parents? You are in for a HUGE FALL! Listen to them! Love them! Let me tell you this, drugs, the dealer's friendship lasts only as long as the money! And unless your LOTTO RICH! YOU WILL NOT HAVE ENOUGH TO LAST FOREVER! Soon those dealer pals will be gone. When you paying, they love you! When your broke, bye bye! On the other hand you FAMILY WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!! I am NOT trying to push any agenda. I just don't want ANY KID to ever feel the effects of withdrawal! The pain of it, and the emptiness of being alone! Take care! You DON'T NEED TO BE HIGH to be a Rock FAN!

Went to the stadium tour in Pittsburgh @ PNC Park August 12th! Fucking Awesome show by all bands!!!
I remember getting caught with the boys smoking in the bathroom with the boys never got caught though love the song cuz you're the best ones that sing it so far Rock on 😈😜
Anyone seen them live?
I love Mötley Crüe because their music always gets me for a good mood. The vibe is very positive and easy going. Modern metal bands are way too serious, not entertaining.
Alestorm has a very lighthearted approach to metal music. Fun loving bunch of guys!
I love this song! I'm 56 and this song takes me back to my teenage years. One of the best songs from Motley Crue. I would love to see this kind of music come back. Someone please BRING BACK THE 80'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m 14 and I would love for the 80s to come back. I would like to know what it was like to be alive in the best time period. The music was better, the cars were better, the rules were better, everything was better.
@@Sportmemorabilia-vg1nn It was the best decade for music that is for sure. You could actually hear the words to the music. Best decade to grow up. I miss my y
I am 55😊 this song was the first motley Crue album I heard..Mick Mar made the best job
@@Sportmemorabilia-vg1nnI was 14 way back in 1984, when Motley Crue was just starting to become really famous.
@@bobby1970 yes! My grandpa was 19 in 84!! He loved them back then. He saw them when they were getting popular at legend valley in 87
Mick Mars is so terribly underrated.
Back in the mid 80's, Mick Mars was the coolest, most awesome looking member of the band in my opinion. His gothic appearance was totally bad ass.
For me Mick Mars the Best guitarist
The Crew in 2022 is the way for me and you. Damn I love this band
i miss music videos like this man

I love this song, I love Motley Crue, and for my whole life i looked up to them and I still do. Motley Crue will always be one of my favorite metal/hard rock bands :)
Then tell me why they doing mick so dirty?
@@angelpeckinpaugh7268That's just sad and a shame the way the band treated him. You still can't deny that the crue made history in real rock n roll, though.
Bro you should see my 80's costume for this year 🤣
I remember back when I was still in High School.
🥺 I'm truly sorry for all your losses!!! Sounds like you've been thru hell n bk n had hit rock bottom... BUT you had a strong enough will n fight to made it thru everything!!! I know your Mom n Dad are watching over you n are sooooo proud of all the progress you've made n thankful for all the care n love you gave them!!! 🥰 I don't know your faith so I hope I don't offend you, but I'll keep you in my prayers 🙏🏻 n send positive thoughts n vibes!!! Stay safe n strong, you got this!!! 🤘🏻💜
I can't believe you typed all that out good lord
I'm sucker for that harmonica solo, it's awesome! LOVE Motley Crue
I like too! I will try this harmonica song later .I play harmonica for two years .it's marvelous and crazy fucking music!Hill Motley Crue!!!!!
Nothing says hair metal like a harmonica solo. They just need a washboard and some "eefing."
@@burningdaylightsI like the harmonica solo in the "Kix" song called "Cold Shower". It's pretty awesome.
I grew up with this type of music because of my brothers, I'm 30 years old and I love it!!! How I would have liked to live the 80s
Clasicazo!!! Tema con el que conocí a los Motley, no paraba de escucharlo una vez tras otra ¡jejeje!

Concert was a lot of fun! First time seeing Mötley and in Cali. i wanted to see them on their Final tour but i was too late now i saw them in their return! Def Leppard was amazing and I didn’t like Poison before but seeing them live changed that. Mötley sounded great as well and everyone had such a great time! Given that i was drinking Mötley mules lmao it was amazing! Glad to be able to see them downside of that concert was that my best friend and I missed Joan Jett 😭
Was it their stadium tour? Where did you see them?
@@ToddyTornado yeah it was the stadium tour. Saw them in Cali
Concert in hershey pa was amazingggg
Unfortunately, the only concert I've ever been to in my life was Iron Maiden in 1986 on their Somewhere in Time tour. It was at the Lakeland Civic Center (renamed to something else now) in central Florida. Yngwie Malmsteen opened up for Maiden. It was so awesome. It's a shame I missed out on all these other concerts like Motley Crue, Kiss, Ratt, Ozzy, Metallica, Megadeth, White Zombie, DLR/Van Halen, and so many more.
Best band ever!!! Mötley Crüe rocks!!! 🤘🏻💄🎸
If there ever is a band to represent the 80"s, Motley Crue is it!

This song is amazing. This really was a time when music was fun.
Ill be rocking to this at work. And when I do,I'm transported back a few years to high school walking around listening to this on my walkman.
You mean a few decades, not years.
I guess today it would be Vaping in the Boys Room 😅
When I was in my Philosophy I just remembered this amazing song, because the class was about how the rules need the accion to be important, and the lyrics "Smoking in the boys room, 'cause everybody knows it, smoking ain't allowed in the school"-There is a perfect example to mi class. Thanks Motley Crue you're all a genius (I know this is cover)
One of the best bands I have seen live!!
Amo esta canción, esta canción la toque cuando estaba en la secundaria con unos amigos Saludos desde 🇲🇽🇲🇽
Possibly one of the greatest crüe songs ever, love from a relatively new fan🤘🎸
Not a crue song! Brownsville station did it in the 70s!
a crue cover ! and it rocks
I remember smoking in the boys room as a teenager, totally inspired by these fellas👌💫

Love Mötley Crüe, thanks boys. I'm crüehead since 80's. Greetings from Mexico City 🇲🇽
My neighbor is Henry "H-Bomb" the drummer of Brownsville Station. The original boys of this song!!
"Teacher don't you fill me up with your rule" The single best words out of anyone's mouth.
Forever grateful that my mom shared these amazing bands and songs with me. She would turn into a teenager in the car and me being a teenager then, felt like two friends rockin out to the Crüe🤘🏻
Que gran epoca del Rock, 1985, lo mejor de lo mejor y Motley crue era la banda mas emblematica, aun lo es.
Fun song, fun vid. Was awesome seeing Crue perform the tune live.

I remember when this video was first played on MTV !!!!!!!!!!!! Watching it on our PIRATE satellite system !!!!!!!! Those were the days !!!!!!!!
mötley crüe has this thing were you dont think their songs are good at first but then they just get stuck in your head constantly and eventually they grow on you so much. This is probably one of my favorite songs and when i first heard it I absolutely hated it!
I think my favorite Crue song is probably "Looks that Kill", or "Too Young to Fall in Love". Maybe even" Too Fast for Love" or "Live Wire".
'80s Rock has always been the best never goes away and these guys are the top of the line first time I heard this song I literally was smoking in the boys room jamming out to this song 😛😛😛😂😂😂😂
I really love this video… drive me crazy
This is a great remaster, the picture quality is better than videos Made in 2022
I love the end of the video. Where Nikki Sixx takes of the guy's wig
There music will never go away!!! They made music that any teenager would understand and love. Are they in rock hall fame????
Nope

My First Favorite Motley Crue Song.
One of the best Music Videos and Rock Songs of the 80's
It's so awesome that Tommy Lee went on to make fantastic albums like Methods of Mayhem and Never a Dull Moment. Interesting to see where he started. Good stuff!
i remember buying the vinyl LP at the Yongsan Korea PX. Blasted it all that year, LOUD while stationed in Korea 85-86
Theater Of Pain was an interesting and Awesome time for the Crue...I have been a fan and have seen them...from some dank little club in San Pedro California, all along the clubs, on the Sunset Strip....To arenas around the world to Sofi Stadium in L.A. . Songs from Toast of the Town to present...A lot of people are shooting on Vince and his voice, it's not what it use to be granted...but look man, Motley Crue is an experience...Deal with it or don't...The Crue .. is .. The Crue They are Hair Metal Gods...., The Future Is Ours!!!!
