I have a tiny Bluetooth speaker that is about the size of a walnut, but it's metal+plastic and completely manufactured. It also doesn't even have control buttons, just a power button. It's a nice little thing to carry around when I want to show someone something with a little better sound than my phone can produce. • This was so dope to watch I always think it’s so fascinating to see how more advanced technology is created. Watching the amount of precision and attention to detail it takes to make things like this is another level but for me watching is so satisfying especially watching you connect all the wires and placement just so cool 🔊

  • Absolutely amazing! As a maker, I can only dream of being that creative. Modern technology tends to be so linear and symmetrical. It's refreshing to see technology buried in something organic, or abstract!

  • That was a super cool little project! I used to have a Bluetooth speaker I mounted on my handlebars and it was pretty clunky and the battery went bad. I always thought it would be cool if there were bicycle handlebars with built in Bluetooth stereo speakers, (with the speakers small enough to fit snug at the ends). This walnut concept would work well for that. It sounded pretty crummy though, I'm listening over headphones and I'm guessing the phone's speakers may have sounded better, but the creative idea and then execution were fantastic. Hey, how do you solder so quickly? I'm forever trying to figure out how to solder speaker wires to PCB's and transducers without melting them.
