It feels weird to hear the song without the intermittent crowd cheers as you detonate the arena.
Or the constant pausing when you perform a successful parry/interruption/instakill
How do I detonate the arena? I seem to be perminatly stuck making perfect four coin ricoshots.
@@frozenheartedgiant8330 OP used detonate as a figure of speech, as in completely owning everything that moves in the arena. If you want to successfully dominate the Cyber Grind, mix up your weaponry, group enemies together, use enemy attacks to your advantage, and remember to slide, dash, and ground slam. Seeing as you are very proficient with using the ricoshot, try using it when those flamethrower bots are spawned. When they're near enemies you can detonate their fuel tanks with a ricoshot, blowing up anything within the blast radius. Only problem with the ricoshot is that it might occasionally break hitscan weapons, dealing no damage. It's a bug that I hope Hakita fixes soon.

my best guess is a stalemate now some people say doomguy wins because he's God but V1 did defeat both a Supreme angel and an actual prime soul, which is so dangerous even heaven feared it +we don't actually know if it was hard for v1 to beat Minos, it could totally be that to v1, Minos prime was nothing

frankly its hard to compare them, DOOM really is a different game where you just feel completely unstoppable, but like a slow titan. ULTRAKILL is also about being unstoppable but because you're just too fast.
@@Lyfalda Imagine a game as fast paced as Ultrakill with first person melee combat, would be interesting. It kind of feels like Ghostrunner was trying to do this, but it ended up being really slow comparatively.

I think its dynamic even in cybergrind it changes depending on the wave and on few occasions on intensity
@@Xarieq unfortunately, it does not. Ive ripped the games audio files and there are only 2 songs for cybergrind. the beginning intro and a perfect loop version. it plays the intro, then loops the other.
I reckon that just goes to show how immaculately paced the cyber grind really is. If it feels dynamic when it really isn't, that's saying something.

@@llamaczech nah, you can do it, it's really easy to do with the grenade socondary of the shotgun edit: Frahd Chikun might be right, bu you can definetly do it with the overload shot of the other shotgun
@@llamaczech yea, if possible, you'll need to have the blue arm, and punch exactly at the same time you fire, takes a bit of practice to get down but really consistent. From what I do know however I heard you can also do the same with the red arm but you have to do it with the explosion and not the punch, but that's only what I've heard
That feature is exactly what sold me on the game. The second I learned about that, I stopped the KZhead video of it I was watching and immediately bought the game so I could play it myself. No regrets, baby.

Only if you skip the intro. And even then there's still a few pointers throughout the rest of the level.
I mean, that's all you need for Ultrakill. Since the level doesn't unload when you die, trial and error isn't all too frustrating. Ultrakill is less like Doom and more like a violence sandbox. Beating the game is a bit of a challenge, but nothing terribly hard, and the major assist system makes the game at large accessible to anyone. The challenge is finding the coolest, most fun way to dispatch your enemies, which is a challenge all skill levels or levels of physical ability are able to enjoy thanks to the aforementioned assist system.

I remember when I first did cyber grind. I was super tired, headphones charging, sipping coffee. I got a decent 2k style, 5th wave. I finished my coffee, put on my headphones, and got serious. Instantly blown away by the music, got 10th wave with 10k style first try. I attribute all of that improvement to the music.

Oh man I can hear so many different genres bleeding through here. Breakcore, bit of speedcore and gabber, dnb, classic hardcore, the works. It's fucking incredible. I need to fire up FL Studio more often so I can start developing my own style but this is just an inspiration
It makes sense when you find out that the main dev for the game, Hakita, is a MASSIVE Igorrr fan. This sort of genre mixing is an Igorrr classic, which makes the genre blending make more sense.

Just a remider, this game lets you: Punch your own fucking bullets (concentrated heat) Ride literal rockets and control them Parry a gargantuan punch from a giant Make a nuke And other stupud shit like ejecting a core, whiplashing a rocket to get you in the air, throw 8 coins, and use a railcannon on said core to make a mega nuke. THIS IS ONLY THE SURFACE
This song is what singlehandedly kept me playing ultrakill after I was done with the normal levels on its initial release
I found this amazing not-DOOM song completely by accident. Was looking for the worst music imaginable: electronic grindcore. Found this gem instead.

This honestly has to be my favorite game this year. Even though only one act is currently available, it’s still a blast to play. The music is on par with the doom soundtracks. Hats off, New Blood.
