I saw your settings on the thumbnail and realized it’s the exact same settings I use on my a6400. Absolutely love it. Colour grading in post is not too heavy, and overall looks great!

Hi Omar. I hope I don't sound silly but is this applied as an 'Input' LUT under 'Basic Correction' in 'Lumetri Color' in 'Premiere Pro' or as a 'Look' under the 'Creative' section?
Thank you for sharing and I have an A6500. Cine2 or slog2 with Still or 709. Thanks to Caleb (DSLR Video Shooter). Using the smaller still/709 color space actually makes the image look fairly normal on the LCD and FREE Davinci color space transform dumbs down slog2, with the 709 color space, without degradation a LUT. I tend to prefer a softer highlight roll-off. With that said..any suggestions on saturation and contrast standards beyond "to much/to little"?

Thank you so much for this quick tutorial. I noticed right away how less "digital" my video now looks. I shoot with a Sony A6600 and use no PP. The camera sharpened the image way too much and saturated my colors to the point of making the overall image look unflattering. Thank you!!

I believe DRO is not available when picture profiles are applied.
I just followed your settings on an A6400 and when I apply the lut in FCP it blows the picture out. Not sure if I am missing something.

I recently got the Sony ZV-1 just realized the Sony ZV-1 does not have Cine4. Is there another option for me to use?
Do you have any recommendations to get colors (straight out of camera) to look like Canon colors when shooting stills? I do event photography which usually requires me to use a flash and there is no editing being done. I need to send or print photos on the spot. I never see KZhead videos on this. Everyone using studio images. I just got a A7 IV and coming from a Canon R6 I currently hate the colors and can't seem to find the correct settings that come close to it. Especially when shooting people of color.

Hi Omar, a quick question I always used PP10 Hlg 3 , so cinema 4 it's a logarithmic color space? so another question, that means that you can customize each profile?

Is this a good picture profile for a multi camera shoot (interview).? I shoot with a Sony a7iii and a Sony a7 ii. I find it difficult to find a profile with consistent color between both cameras.

i have a question. When should i use picture profile bcs i mainly do video for fun and i dont know should i use picture profile or not. Is there any specific scenario that i need to use picture profile or should i use it everytime when shooting video?
I'm gonna test it on my A7 II but It doesn't have PP10 but I can make this changes on another PP profile. But all the other settings may be different then? Like color depth, knee and things.

Prolly won’t work as good because the a7c has a newer color science, but I just one one too so I’ll be messing with it also!

Hello. This may be the info I have been looking for I just got a6400, made a vid on Auto and the colors were all oversaturated and unrealistic. Should I know what Gamma, Knee and these other numbers and names are supposed to mean? The camera does not come with instructions or any explanation on what the dials or buttons or settings do. So far, your vid is the most helpful. I have been out of photography for 25 years, (from when there was no video) and now all the digi tech is so complicated, but full Auto does not appeal to me. Just knowing the relationship between Aperture, Shutter, ISO is now the easy part. I still have to learn how to set things on the camera so some things are "permanent" and some are temporary....Frightening tech! What do all the other things on the top dial mean?
How about if you have no desire to adjust in post, then which two picture profiles are preferred?
I used sony a7s2, which one best Picture profile and easy color grading?
I like how the standard profile looks for sony, I actually think it looks more accurate.

I currently have a Sony a6000 but I'm going to get the a6600 for the 4k (because that's currently what I can afford) but everything will be studio lit so I think it will be a great 1st cam to go with my a6000 for now as the second cam. do you have any tips for making the picture profile on the sony a6000 any better? I want to be able to easily match my film.
