    • True, bought my og m2 5 years ago, this year i purchased an rs3 next to it. 5 years later the goal is 718 gt4. However 3hobby cars are more than enough xD

    • Only if you live in a country where car prices are not ludicrous.. 2023 RS3's in Holland with some mandatory options and 3k miles go for around 80k-100k, not really a start of the journey friendly price 😅

  • Hi Luke, what I like most about your videos is a sense of calmness. Most of the people that are car influencers can't stop talking during the video. You on the other hand understand the importance of the "eloquent pause". It allows viewer to become immersed into the video, the surroundings, the sounds.   • Previous Audi tech here!! When the heart beat sound goes off use the volume knob to turn it off and through the vehicle setting you can turn that to a simple beep or completely off Hopefully this help!!!

    • And you can also turn off the “your mobile phone is still in the vehicle” reminder as well. He just lacks of confidence, cause I love these features in my Audi. It’s a flex!

    • Same here, makes me so mad that we don't get it here. Cars like RS6 is way too big and heavy, price of it doesn't help either. Got my 2018 A5 Sportback almost 6 years ago, still love it. Wanted S5/RS5, but do DCT (deal breaker). This RS3 is almost perfect. For me perfect car would be S5 Sportback with the 5cyl engine and a DCT.

  • I think that this car is the starting point for every car guy. It brings so many memories from my childhood sitting and watching every KZhead video of the car dreaming of it as my first proper car. The day i get one is the day i ll be sure that everything was worth it! Great video Luke. Made my studying Sunday a little easier.

  • Had the pleasure of driving and shooting a Nara blue 2018 RS3 in May last year. That got my brain working😂 The 5 cyl, quattro, good looks and decent space makes this an awesome daily actually! The newest gen seems awesome as well, but almost even more refined in a sense😅 Dope video Luke! Immaculate vibes with your coffee machine and music as well. Great video!🫶

    • @@RS-mu5cy thanks! I did a dual study programme at a company where I am now working. I work a lot but also get paid quite decent. Currently doing my Master's degree alongside my job and my goal is to work at Audi in 2 years' time.😃

  • You can turn off the Audi Heartbeat under settings/Announcements and Sounds from the menu, also the volume of those sounds Hopefully that helped Awesome vid 👌🏾

  • Been a while, good to see you back :) Pretty lil car but that price tag is mind boggling. I totally get you on the annoying things too and it's funny because that would be a dealbreaker for me. Having steel brakes? Sure. Having electronic seat controls? Whatever. Fake sound pumped through the speakers. I can live with that. These little things? It would drive me nuts. 😅 Also, after having an electric handbrake experience for the last 1,5 years I can personally say it takes a huge part of the joy of driving in a region with snowy winter. Wouldn't get a "fun car" of this price w/o one or the ability to modify it and replace with a regular one. To sum it up - great car, wouldn't get one if I had the money. Your video satisfied my need to drive one more than enough. 😁

  • Im sure you could code the "audi heartbeat" out via OBD, I certainly hope so anyway lol. I agree - best Audi wheels I've seen. Oh and I recommend a calibrated tamp for the coffee, maybe some people dont need it but when Im trying to eliminate variables I found it has made things ever more conistent :)

  • The heartbeat sound can be lowered and smartphone off with OBD eleven, not sure if you can do it without it. Awesome quality video as always 😊

    • on the US RS3 on the settings menu, if you scroll all the way to the right, there should be "announcement and tones" and then inside there you can disable "Audi Heartbeat"

  • I was torn between the Linea Micra and the Lelit Bianca v3, and ended up with the Lelit in stainless/walnut and I'm really happy with it. It's great when interests collide, being that good coffee is so often the destination, and a superb vehicle is the way to get there! Cheers man. It's such a shame we don't get the RS3 sportback in the US, or I would've had one instead of my M2C.

    • Cheers! I had a Lelit before, the game changer for me was with this it can create perfect silky milk every time which I struggled to do with the Lelit. And yes shame there are not over there, I could imagine many wanting them.

    • @@carswithluke consistent milk texture is a great benefit! Even after taking a latte art course, I still fail at texturing sometimes. I think some of the difficulty is on me for using oat milk instead of whole milk. Steaming in general has a steep learning curve, but it's definitely worth the trouble! Thanks for the reply.

  • Incredible coffee set up 🔥 can't wait to see a run down of that coffee machine. That "your phone is still in the vehicle" is so annoying. It's happens in my girlfriends Audi Q2 everytime we park up because we've got an apple carplay wireless box connected via usb and yet the car thinks it's a phone. Annoying.
