They could easily add a minigame here instead of just a black screen. Imagine Chess Kombat again. Or better yet, have the original retro MK titles as options to play while you wait.

I've never played mk9 online when I was little but that's way more cooler than mk1 I did not know about it but it is a amazing that I know now I messed so much mk9 well always be my all time game

MK1 is so frustrating because I like a lot of the aspects of the base gameplay but then there’s just stuff like this that’s so obviously rushed out or there was just no effort put in there to begin with. I paid $110 for this and there was barely any content at launch and 7 months later content still feels rushed.
I know there are games you can change the UI skin, but for a price. Will you pay krystals if NRS does it? 😂

That is so depressing to look at, who would want to be waiting to play in a King of the Hill lobby looking like that? Why would they do this? MK9's version was perfect, but MK9 was still all about fun, had zero politics and was kind of a homage to what made previous MK's great. That game was a labor of love and the team wanted to do good by the game and community. Unfortunately it seems like not even the dev team is having fun producing things with MK1. It's almost like they've just put themselves in a tiny creative bubble to where they can't do nearly as much as they used to be able to do like in the previous titles. Which is ironic because the entire point of them doing this "Liu Kang world rebuilding and multiverse crap" was literally so they could have the freedom to do whatever they want and take liberties to push the story in different directions.
Ah, NRS at their finest these days. Screwing up every single step of their game. And people payed money for it. The game is literally unfinished, and shills are wonder, why so many old MK fans are angry about it. Turn on your brain, put 2 plus 2 together and answer your question. Cause at least they could bring back some of the mini games and add them in to the waiting screen, so that you can do something while waiting. But instead you have to sit and stare at a black screen. What a joke of the game! Pure trash.
Like it's been said before: one move doesn't save a broken game it takes several of updates maybe even years. Nrs said mk2 won't release until the next generation of Conceles release (around 2028 probably) If they want us to keep playing then they have to work harder. This is what happens when you are owned by WB

@@deathcold_longplaysua4846 in this situation I blame WB for not allowing NRS to delay the game. Sure NRS are also ti blame for not fixing a few issues and for the new era changes but WB were the main reason. I just hope one day to get some classic MK back

Also they re-released classic games back in around 2013 - 2014, which is MK HD Arcade Kollection but it's no longer available fo purchase, since they removed it along with MK9 from any digital store. You could probably buy a physical copies, but the online aspect of it is probably dead. But that's only on consoles. On PC on the other hand, if you have someone to play with online, then you can but only in your region. You still can play single player arcade mode thou.
@@deathcold_longplaysua4846 nah I am good thanks and these old games like mkx there are not enough people playing online these days.(I mostly play online in games like SF6 and Tekken) I don't think mk1 is nearly as bad people say it is in fact I enjoyed the game a lot more sense ermac came out. But there are no doubt issues. Some of them are fine but some of them are no excuse

Yeah so I think I can take your first question on, so basically if you join a match in progress, you get that screen. But once the match is finished, you can then watch all the matches from there on out. So this is a pretty stupid complaint, especially since you didn’t mention that at all, and then compared it to 9 and drone on and on. Another classic fate video
