  • It's good that they have included spare screws but why they can't incorporate captive screws is beyond me. Bcause, we know that after commission those spare screws will be nowhere to be found in the future when needed

  • If it had a glass door like the Hager I would have installed one in my home but I might get one for my office/workshop when I upgrade the supply to 3phase next summer 😁

    • The Hagar 3 phase with the glass door shouldn't be installed in a house as they don't cover regs for non combustible materials. I rang Hagar yesterday about it yesterday. They do an A3 board with full metal door

  • 3 phase, can buy you an extra percent in efficiency charging and EV or running a heat pump, but the problem is the solar inverters and battery systems cost more and often the domestic gear struggles with unbalanced phase use.

  • Do they have Type1 spd as an option otherwise can't install on any installs with lighting protection.

  • In Serbia, everything is 3 phase, but 16-25A limiter fuse. So, you have 17kW in theory, but it is go do take more then 11, as you have to have everything balanced.

  • Are UK installs required to switch the neutral at the main CB? Why a 4-pole switch?

    @michaelraab5669@michaelraab56696 ай бұрын
    • Safe isolation procedure requires N and L conductors to be open. Double pole MCBs (breakers) are not used in the UK. 5:45 they are the main isolator switch and spd (orange).

  • No 3 phase board can compete with the Schneider 3 phase board because it has the Merlin Gerin Isolated buss bar, safest on the market bar none and the new one has the neutral connection built in as well. Although you do have to use the knee chin and forehead method to fit the front cover then try not to lose the tiny screws for the cover or the even smaller screws that fix the neutral cover.

    • Issue is the price.... Hundreds for an empty board. Then £100 per rcbo... That are Single pole..... It's a joke..

    • @@arcadia1701e Buy cheap get cheap whether it's chint, mcg, BG, wylex and even Hager. The invictus board is crap and their 250amp mccb panel is even worse. With schneider gear it's expensive but you don't get flimsy poor build quality.

      @kjgreen3@kjgreen36 ай бұрын
    • It's always a race to the bottom for price so this stuff will be thrown in everywhere. We don't install anything other than schneider for the safety aspect with isolated BB.

    • M8. Totally agree... gone from being an informative channel to a blatant Home Shopping one 🙄. This weeks 'flavour of the day' will shortly be replaced by the next in pretty short order once the sponsorship deal has been agreed. Use to respect these guys in the early days but now with their new team members they've just become a bunch of salesmen trying to flog whatever cross's their path (& their palm with silver)! What next... prices, payment options and direct selling 🤔

      @Sparks1Plumbers0@Sparks1Plumbers06 ай бұрын
    • 1. Features copied: If there has been a patent infringement or copyright infringement then it is down to the complainant to sue FuseBox. So perhaps there hasn't been any infringement. Many products use similar features - just look at how lever terminals are being used in more and more accessories, yet Wago has been using them for years. Do you think other manufacturers should not use this really neat feature? The answer is, it depends if there is any copyright protection on the design. So there is a complete legal framework in place to protect designs and if a manufacturer choses not to take advantage of it, or cannot take advantage because their design is not sufficiently unique, then that's tough. 2. Is this video a genuine review or an advert? That depends on whether eFix have been paid by FuseBox for performing the review, or benefitted in some way. And we don't know the answer to that. In my opinion, if they have been paid by FuseBox they should disclose it.
