Survivalcraft is one of the best clones out there. You can tell that the devs put actual effort into it, like the wild punji traps and extremely aggressive fauna, along with a very comprehensive and useable electrical system that people, such as Spoon3rs, can do amazing things with, like actual 80’s videogames

I love how Notch made this so easy to do by releasing the source code for Minecraft before selling it to Microsoft. A truly hilarious backstab, as it limits any legal action Microsoft can take on knock-off games.
Oh yeah, & some of these games not only predate Microsoft's buyout but existed before the official mobile port, making it even harder for Microsoft to do anything about them.

survival craft is probably the only good mobile MC clone in here, because the game actually have some different things to offer compared to Minecraft, for example I really like the electric contraption system in it, it isn't too hard to understand but at the same time not too limiting. Edit: I also remembered Blockheads and Block Story, damn nostalgia is kicking back to me, Blockheads is forgotten and apparently the game got shutdown due to hackers, and Block Story is if you want Minecraft building and crafting but with RPG elements like WoW. Edit 2: If you like minecraft survival but want more challenge you can play Survivalcraft, the game is pretty challenging imo, not only you need to make sure you have health, hunger and armor, I remember you need to watch out for your body temperature, wetness, etc. Animals can also be really aggressive, its survival is more inspired from real life rather than Minecraft.
Crafting and building is just like Minecraft and even has its own texture but they have Minecrafts to and you can play with people on Minecraft

Regarding SurvivalCraft: I love that game. To split stacks, simply tap and hold on the item in your inventory, and it will highlight with a red box that says "split". Then tap the area you want to move a single item to. SurvivalCraft was one of the few Minecraft inspired games that I actually think was a really good competitor for the Pocket Edition of Minecraft back before it became Bedrock Edition. Genuinely recommend.

Planet of Cubes is actually the old name of the first one. Now it's called PlanetCraft and it's changed a lot over the years with new updates. I actually played it since 2016 through 2020 and liked it before I was able to get real Minecraft, the models for their mobs are really unique and they put a lot of effort in their designs. I don't play it anymore mostly because it's not super popular and people don't play it as much as they used to but I have good memories from there. I remember my favorite place was Fun City on one of the creative multiplayer worlds, and when the game was dying multiple players made this wall of goodbye message signs to thank the game for the fun memories made. It was sweet.

Survivalcraft is one of the best clones out there specially when they released SC2 cuz u can make custom furniture that can be used for many creative stuff. Also you need to hold an item in the inventory for a few seconds then wait for it to be highlighted red then tap on to other slots in ur inventory to split the stack of items
i wouldn't call it a clone, it added it's own ideas in interesting ways and didn't take assets from minecraft. please don't call games that clearly are there own thing a ripoff.
Yes, it is really good. Still I wouldn't call it a clone bcz SC2 is more based on survival aspect and there are different mobs like lion, tiger,hyena and wolves become Werewolf at night time etc....and circuitry instead of Redstone. Different weapons and the terrain generation is pretty good in my opinion.

Survivalcraft is actually really good and it doesn't deserve to be labelled as a bad Minecraft ripoff, it should be a good ripoff. Also blockwars and paper Minecraft too, I played all of them when I was a young un.
I actually knew and played that Survival Craft game before I knew Minecraft existed. But then again, it's back when the PE version of Minecraft just had a Nether Reactor Core and has no Nether dimension. It's a good game overall, very different from Minecraft has to offer and incredibly frustrating with the real life features the game has. The 'redstone' in this game is an actual electricity with cable and logic gates so it's much more simple than redstone. And of course the free game is just a demo so you have to pay to play it.
I really like how the Fnaf and Fnf fandoms are having a debate before the video start lol

15:18 I tried survivalcraft after this video and discovered that pressing the stack for an amount of time will activate splitting mode, which makes the game playable
In survival craft you need to hold the button on the stack for long enough until there is a red box around the item. Which then you can click anywhere to split one by one
When crafting in survivalcraft, you hold your finger on a stack until you hear a click, then you are in stack split mode. Tap onto any spot in the inventory or crafting space to take one item from the stack, and put it into the grid square of your choice.
I love how the joystick in Crafty Neighbor Minecraft Mods looks like the MCPE one but instead of you clicking the buttons the joystick moves as a whole.

Terraria is a rpg game focused on adventure and doing rpg things. While minecraft is a incredible survival sandbox game focused in building projects and creating farms, builds and even more. There no sense why peoples like to compare these two games.
Survivalcraft is actually a honorable one, the electronic components in this game are in fact far superior than redstone in MC, and the 2.0 version added the ability to carve furniture out of blocks (Sort of like the Chisels & Bits mod for MC). There's a guy that made an accurate replica of the entire International space station, complete with interior down to each single voxel.
Minecraft tower defense takes me BACK. I remember playing that in the computer lab at my old middle school.

I have a very vivid memory. I am currently 19. When i was like, idk, 10, I used to go downstairs after school to my dad's computer. I did not have minecraft at the time, so i had to make do. I played Paper Minecraft on scratch. I played this game while listening to Monster by Skillet, which that eventually got me into rock music as a whole. I remember making a hotel made out of iron blocks. I was in creative, ofc. There was also a rip-off MC game on ios that I used to play with an old friend of mine, something similar to Kidblock.Thank you for reviving these old memories of mine.

Papercraft is probs one of the few good Minecraft clones. The developer is cool and since it's on scratch it's easy to find. And Minecraft tower defence is the kind of thing a kid in school would play on the school ipads instead of working.

What I've remembered about this game was sharing a map from somewhere else, building a modern mansion, an old house, an indoor/outdoor kart track, an empty basement and a secret tunnel. That's why I've remembered about it...
I remember Planet back before I got Minecraft and it was shockingly twice as glitchy. Side note, if you want to play a decent quality Minecraft ripoff that's actually worth its merit I highly recommend a game called Crafting and Building which is basically just Unity's version of Minecraft but with ads and a change of texture and font
I actually remember Survivalcraft on my dad’s Kindle Fire back then. I seem to have enjoyed it a lot because there was a sequel on Windows, and I did get it on my old surface prior to it dying for some reason.

It’s really sad and interesting that all of these games target kids, or at least it seems that way. It’s like they think that kids are dumb. I’m a kid so I’m gonna tell a story about my friend, who is also a kid(wow, what a good transition…) So basically I’m having fun playing some Minecraft, and my friend calls me. He tells me “YO, you GOTTA try this game out, it’s called mineblockcraft 3D HD! I’m like ok, sounds weird but I’ll play. He asks me what I think of the game and I say LOL you didn’t tell me this was A RIPOFF Of Minecraft! Confused, he asks me what Minecraft is, and I explain him the whole gist of Minecraft, and that the game he plays is a RIPOFF. Honestly this game reminds me of the mod RLcraft, cus you can freeze to death or die due to the heat and have to find a different way to craft tools or find food from the way you do in Minecraft and everything wants to kill you, even animals that look harmless.

Fun fact, blockman go actually started as a mobile server thing, where people could make servers hosted by blockman for a little while. Most people used it to do roleplays and stuff
i used to love survival craft. unironically played it for years. always in creative though because I couldn’t figure out survival mode and didn’t care enough to try. i loved the animals, especially trying to find the orcas and white tigers in creative because they couldn’t be spawned :P

survivalcraft is definitely the best of the Minecraft rip-offs. aside from the crafting system, the game adds a ton of new features and was way better than Minecraft PE at the time edit: I just rewatched the games trailer. It even acknowledged the fact that it was similar to Minecraft and credited Notch for the inspiration.

Felt like you missed a lot on Survivalcraft. In my opinion, as a person who played it, it's easily the ONLY best Minecraft rip-off like out of like 99% of those crappy clones lol. One thing I like about Survivalcraft the most is of it's handful of items, you can hunt animals with a musket, having fun with it's electricity system it has (it's incredibly educational if you spend some time with it), and actually having fun with gunpowder kegs (imo it's way better than Minecraft's TNT). Another thing I also love about the game is its in-built community content. Sure, it may not support mods but I appreciate more the fact that you can actually download maps, texture packs, skins, etc. without downloading something on the internet like what Minecraft Bedrock does (unless if you use it's Marketplace which is literally a pain without having Minecoins).

When I was a kid I remember not being able to afford minecraft so I played Block Story. I had quite a fun time with that game, it had tons of places to explore and items to craft, maybe even more than Minecraft did at the time.
Theres actually some lore in kidblock, when in survival theres some ways you can glitch, build, or fly (by increasing the graphics beyound your phones limit, to secret castles in the sky and face a bossbattle. Really would recomend kidblock if you want to just play around with some funky ememies and go kill 'Dr.Oneeye' as I dubbed the boss. Theres also some neat game mechanics like gaining pets, farming through a means of using youer average tools, and if you want to get fancy you can use the conveyor line thingys to move items, blocks, and mobs through areas when stepped on.
Most of the Minecraft clones are reskins of Minetest which is a voxel engine you can tell if it is a minetest clone via the main menu it should look something like the menu showed at 3:34
