I don't get it. Tottenham got beat by a very good team but these pundits are making it feel like champions were beaten by a team in the relegation scrap.

It is a bit of a myth that they don't spend money. In the summer they spent nearly $300 million on players and even after selling Kane, Winks and Sanchez the net spending was around $162 million or about the same as Real Madrid.

They don’t spend BIG is the thing like they’re not gonna go out there and throw 100 mil at someone type deal. We buy cheap and in bulk for the most part

spurs dont need 100m plus players to challenged other big clubs ,the MATE manager just need to changed his tactics , and work on their defends , they are good attacking but bad in defending , it would have been up 5 goals if not some important saves made by their goal keeper
Couple months ago this panel criticized Arsenal for scoring many goals from set pieces!!!
Anyone watching Arsenal this year knows that they like to put Benjamin White on the keeper to disrupt him. Spurs had 15 days to prepare for this game and never thought maybe we should put a defender between them to free up the keeper?

that is is the good job of the set piece coach ,and arsenal must reward that guy more , i remember when arsenal used to concede goals from canners , right ,left and center , if it was back then that spurs game could have end in 3-3 draw
Man thinks he's still at Celtic & doesn't have to worry about tactics because he has far better players than anyone else 😂 Haaland will run riot in a couple of weeks when they play City, he did the last game just missed loads of chances.

As a kid I was a Spurs fan. I m happy I changed to Barca in time. It sure must be frustrating. Spurs needs a Klinsmann or a Kane. I m actually impressed by Spurs overall. Big Ange needs time. But, he s building something great.

@@khalzo7804although set pieces are an issue, there is a bigger picture to look at that isn’t just solving set pieces. We need a new 6, backup 10 to Maddison, Actual wingers who can beat their man, and a Striker who can hold the ball up. Ange saying he doesn’t find Set Pieces Important is him pretty much saying “ There’s more than one pressing issue in this team”

So smart he had 2 weeks to prepare & didn't do anything at all to counter 2 of Arsenal's biggest strengths! Let's be the only team in the league that doesn't protect our GK on corners or put more than 1 player on Saka, genius 😂

Let's not forget though that Celtic were poor at defending Set Pieces in the first season but got a lot better in the following season. This is not the first time Ange has received criticism for set pieces. No one thinks about this though. This is par for the course with Ange. First season is always rough as he tries to get to grips with the league and a new team. Next season will be much better. Trust me 100%. Not even worried one bit.

As he said in press conference anyone who sone research will see it’s something that an issue in his first season but improves in second so he’s not worried - ie Celtic they conceded a lot first series second hardly any - he feels more important to build a structure and a style - like a boxer making his jab perfect then spend more time on other things rather than working on everything for small Periods so nothing improves

They’re no such thing as building a 4th place team, 4th is too close to 5th, aiming for 4th place every year is asking for trouble. if you’re not building to win it all then expect anything and this team is not a title hunting team

Ange potecoglou out!!! It makes no sense to plan the 23-24 season with just one tactic. Even though all teams already figured out how to destroy us, they were not prepared. It's not the players' fault. This is entirely the ange's fault. The tactic of not being able to defend against the opponent's counterattack by raising the line and opening up the space behind the defense even though there is no Udoggi is a really stupid tactic. It's strange that you still believe in ange, which has only one tactic. The players are not at fault. Ange is most responsible for not using flexible tactics. It has to stop now. ange out!
