  • it's just crazy how athletic and good they actually are. up and down the court non stop and they're barely missing any shots and they're only playing with a fraction of the intensity they would show in a normal game. Compared to normal people you learn to appreciate how good they are with videos like this, it's pretty insane.

  • No matter how much shit everybody talks about Ben Simmons, its beautiful to see that NBA players remain a family and whenever he puts up a shot, good or bad, or as rarely as he did in this run, they actually encouraged him. If there's one thing that could build his confidence up, its this. Beautiful to see.

It'd be tough being a Shaq or Malone in today's game. Not in the sense that their games couldn't co-exist or even that one era is better/worse, it's just crazy seeing these massive humans (even Ja is 6'2") just glide and weave around the court in such a smooth manner.

If this pickup team played against a coordinated overseas team they’d get thrashed. Basketball at the highest level is more about personnel, coaching, and flawless teamwork than it is individual skill. Look at the 2014-15 Hawks - they were an insanely good team even though their players weren’t individually as talented as their competition. in a pickup environment they’d get demolished by these guys
