While watching this, I started thinking of players who will probably be hated forever by an entire country because of how their blatant cheating changed the course of a crucial game: Maradona - England fans Joe Jordan - Welsh fans Thierry Henry - Irish fans Luis Suarez - Ghanaian fans To be fair, only Suarez was a serial cheat, but I don't think it matters to the fans of those countries. The memory will still be raw. Can anyone think of other examples ?

Gennaro Gattuso - when somebody approached him (not even touched) he fell to the ground almost dying. On the other hand , he never tackled other players, he tried to destroy them, always. It seems to me like Sergio Ramos there must be extra rules for the referees, because after standard soccer rules both of them must have seen a red card after fifteen minutes in every single game.

I think football fans need to gain some perspective about players joining other clubs. The money being thrown at these players are absurd and disgusting sometimes. This part is tue. But if you are a professional football player, having sacrificed your youth and health since you're like 12, I'll wager my house you too will try to make as much money as you can. This is while you're still marketable and footballers generally do not have long careers. Everything goes downhill after 30, with the exception of absolute monsters like Messi or Ronaldo. That is if you do not get a career-ending injury or even one that hampers you long term.
