I love his clean hard checking! He doesn’t cheat man, he plays the way the game is supposed to be played. The only thing he needs to work on (there’s a lot he needs to work on) He needs to be a little better stability on his skates. So he can collect the puck after he’s checked the puck carrier, off the puck. He reminds me of a poor man’s Moritz Seider. He’s only 22 and he’ll learn a lot more! The way he closes that gap between himself & the forward is extremely impressive. That’s how NHL defensemen are supposed to play! We’ll see a lot more of this out of many other defensemen now that NHL has FINALLY taken all the cross-checking & stick-swatting out of the game, thank God! Yeah, I’m so glad we didn’t sign Alexander DeBrincat. With his size and weight? He’s going to have it MUCH harder time in the Eastern Conference (Atlantic Division) with defencemen like Seider & Romanov closing that gap as fast as those 2 players do!

Now for a real trade....get a top line forward. Not much cap left after Romo and Dobson get theirs, so free agency is out until cap is cleared.

Huh 🤔 “clearly hit in the head?” Wtf? That wasn’t even close to the head! That was a great clean legal body-to-body check that knocked the wind-out-of-him, that's all! Some of these hometown announcers need to be a lot less “HOMERS!” Sam Rosen & Joe Michelotti are the absolute worst! 1, They NEVER criticize their players? (They did once in this playoffs for the first time in the 50 years I’ve been alive)! 2, “It’s a Power Play Goal!…” Well, I should hope so! It’s a 5 on 4 you silly F..K! P.s. That’s the only way the Rags can score is on the PP! Through 81 games Kreider scored 52 goals but keep in mind 1/2 of those goals, 26 goals to be exact. Doing the math? That’s half of his goal output was scored on the PP! Probably with that type of goal scorer they put the whistles away in the playoffs as they should! We don’t want officials deciding the outcome of Lord Stanley’s Cup! As the NFL does, year in and year out! The NFL officiating is the absolute worst! Yet, they throw more laundry on the grass in the playoffs than they do during the regular season! I still to this day do not understand how the NFL gets better ratings than the NHL? (I know the NHL does stupid stuff like having 2 NY rivalries only playing THREE TIMES this upcoming season?! Hence why the NHL can never compete with the NFL! Anytime the Rags play the NY Islanders or the NJ Devils it’s always sellouts stadiums)!
