Whoa, no kidding on the future proofing. No wonder your podcast is as great as it is, helps the host and guests are great too ;) I only really listen to two podcasts. HEADPHONES: How do you feel about the Sony MDR 7506? Light weight, flat signature, very comfortable and half the price of the 50x's? Used for broadcasting for decades. Great Video!!
I've seen a lot of people use them so they must be pretty great, the earcups look so thin though, I personally really like thick pads on the ear cups
Is something like the Rode USB Mini incompatible with the Scarlett Solo?
the Rode USB Mini hooks directly up to a computer, no need for the Scarlet.
I have seen so many people talk about equipment, mic and mixer and all the other stuff.. that’s great. But is there any video that actually talks about how to record (audio) the damn thing? Once it’s all set up.. what software? And if you do video… how does that change the mic

As a total newbie to podcasting, what is the difference between a video podcast and "just" a KZhead video ?
Nothing really outside of hosting, a podcast is available via RSS, a KZhead video is not.
I got the Hypercast before I knew any better, truth, is it booty??

Oh. I haven’t used that mic. If you’re not happy with it see if you can use compression and EQ to fix it in post.
@@BillFairchild in the live stream it was echoing so bad no one could understand me and I never heard what they heard. I did get a new computer because its time and I am very serious about this but audio is everything

I do think it sounds way worse than what I'd put out, but if that's all you have, then that's all you have.
7:23 initial lights, 7:38 smaller LED 18” panels, 9:56 no in-person two mics (no XLR) but doing video
If every KZheadr spared me the prompts to like and subscribe and watch to the end, it would save me years of lifetime, sorry, man, I just can't hear it anymore
Fair, but one thing is for sure, when I remind people about those buttons, they get clicked. I wouldn't say it if it wasn't effective.
@@BillFairchild You're probably right, but I don't know - never do it on my own channel (perhaps it expains the lack of success😆) but this "please like me" ... I would never say it myself, would make me feel desperate. If someone likes me, great, if not ... would they do just because I ask them to? That's why everybody says "click the like button", but it means exactly the same.
