as a native spanish speaker I was highly surprised to see German Garmendia appear on this video, I grew up with his videos and his dumb jokes had such a big impact on me, I'm actually writing this a day after the Esland awards and seeing German be granted the award for best trajectory, remember everything he had done even if to some it doesn't look like much, it's just amazing and very heart warming

I never appreciated how influential German was. With KZhead being primarily dominated by English-speaking channels at the time, he really helped non-English speaking creators find their footing.
The English community probably doesn't know German, but he was huge in Latinoamérica, a legend. On his old chanel, everytime he uploaded a new video everyone would be talking about it, and on his new chanel he's doing pretty well as well
I don't watch Spanish KZheadrs (cos I don't understand it), but growing up I still knew who he was cos I was obsessed with KZhead that time and he was extremely popular. So popular that even though I don't watch him, I knew about him.

They didn't buy their followers although I agree PewDiePie definitely the one I choose between the two. T-Series is just one of the big music companies in India and there was a revolution in India when a company started providing internet at REALLY affordable prices and so legit, more than half of the Indian population started using internet for the very first time, this flooded the internet with Indians that knew nothing about overseas creators and but did definitely know about T-Series which is why they suddenly got the huge subscriber count
