I like cotto but he wasn't humble , he didn't let the wbc proceed with their rules when he fought canelo because he thought he was bigger than the organization and the belt , and he wasn't honest because he said that he always respected Manny pacquiao and that he thought Pacquiao was a great champion but in the boxing circles it's widely known that Miguel cotto doesn't like Pacquiao because he believes Pacquiao used performing enhancing drug when they fought

@@justinseagull3257 still, that doesn’t take anything away from his personality. He has been through way bigger things, as the wrap scandal loss vs Margacheato and losing his father. I am a huge Pacman fan, but do believe Cotto is right in this. It’s hard to dislike Pacquiao anyway. Let’s be honest. And fighting vs Canelo, have you fought against elite boxers yourself? I have fought with some Olympians and can tell you it’s all fun and games until better, younger or fitter fighters step up, especially after losing yourself or having setbacks. Cotto and Pac are both legends and great guys, period.

Cotto was a gentleman, in the ring and outside. One of the all time greats. (At least in his weight class)

I once heard a commentator say cotto fights every second of every round of every fight with his heart on his sleeve. Couldn’t explain him better, an absolute modern day gladiator and a warrior. One of my all time favourite boxers.

@@grodriguez512 I think that fight and Sergio Martinez like around 2012. But cotto pretty much faced everyone. Tbh with you Sergio Martinez and paul Williams should have not been facing cotto though. Paul started his career at light heavy weight. He was huge. Sergio was like 154-160 guy. Cotto was a welterweight to a small max 154 pound guy. Cotto should have never fought above 154. He was a small man for that weigh.

He was one of the best in 147 Maywaether and Paquio didnt wanna fight him they whait until hey got fuck uk and Canelo was a boy when he fought him but still he never said no to any fight he was a warrior thats why he is Hall of Fame and not Maywaether, Paquiao or Canelo.
